    If they trade for Murphy/sign Contreras and add one of the big 4 shortstops, the gap between the Cardinals and Brewers will be pretty wide projections wise.

    David did some great things, amazing things really especially when you consider the fact the Brewers haven't developed a position player in his 7 years. But that is exactly why I am not devastated, until we get that side of things figured out Brewers fans will continuously be frustrated.

    Freddy's shoulder makes me uneasy. I almost rather use him out of the bullpen going forward, I know I will be in the minority on that one. I know this is a thread about the big 3 but I do have some confidence in Ashby stepping up. I am betting on him figuring out his 0-2 woes of surrendering a .720 OPS and .539 BABIP to opposing hitters.

    Just thinking out loud but probably would have to be prepared to give up two of our top guys not named Chourio, another top 10 prospect, and then another prospect in the teens. It would be a massive haul but for one of the few players that could actually raise the Brewers floor and ceiling in the current window. It might be worth it. The problem at catcher is we probably will be competing with the Cardinals for available targets.

    No matter if his stock falling, it has been reported that Stearns and Eppler are really good friends I don't think Stearns really cares about job title if he is working with a great friend in a city he loves, for a team he loves backed by one of the richest people in the world.

    I had him 4th in the latest polling. For the next one probably will have him back to 3rd behind Chourio and Frelick but will have to think about where Gasser should go ahead of him or not.

    Quero has the potential to be the total package I am going to keep pounding the table for him in the monthly rankings.

    Just completely silly what Chourio is doing at High A for an 18 year old. I was a little worried about the K rate at Carolina but he has improved that so far, was not expecting to see that moving up a level.

    Can't wait for him to get to the appropriate level. I know he doesn't have the physical projection profile but he had some ridiculous stats on a national championship team. I am a sucker for great changeups so can't wait to see that pitch.

    Chourio a homer, hard hit out, and an 11 pitch K. Pretty good for a 18 year old with 14 games under his belt at High A.

    Even before that home run, Turang has been brimming with confidence. You can tell he is getting closer and closer.

    Brent Suter fits into the same category as Lamet. Only optionable bullpen arm is Milner I believe.
