  1. Just read this in a article...... Stearns said he’d be comfortable going into a season with Urias at third. We better get used to Urias there, seems like that's gonna be it.
  2. He's improved the last 2 years... dWAR is practically the same for all 4 now, unless that isnt what you use to determine D, idk.
  3. Wow, Franco K's a lot less than I thought, although wish he would get on base better, maybe last year was the start of something... And I've read his D has improved last 2 years... Screw it, sign him and call it good. I can live with Wong Cain Yelich Hiura Franco Narvaez Garcia Urias/Arcia
  4. I guess I could see Fisher/Garcia platoon in RF... Although maybe not a strict platoon since Fisher would get the majority of the ABs. The problem is he has been terrible against right handers in the majors and has hit left handers pretty well, especially for a left handed batter. Hmm interesting... That would be a weird platoon then, RHH vs RHP and LHH vs LHP.
  5. I wouldn't mind him, just doesnt get on base enough for me. But apparently our theme this offseason is to find guys in their prime and former top prospect. So why not? Maybe Franco found something and the 2020 version is the player he is now.

  7. Very doubtful.... Stick a guy at 3B, that's never played a single inning in the infield at either college or minors, not gonna happen... Can you imagine the uproar if he did that? Pretty sure that was sarcasm Haha sorry, I guess I can't read sarcasm online.

  9. First off Candelario is a switch hitter. And second, who's to say it would cost Mitchell and Small... I could see Mitchell as untouchable since he would replace Cain possibly after this year or the next... I could see something like Lutz, Ashby and Payton Henry. I would totally do that deal in a heartbeat... Everything may have finally clicked with Candelario, he's just entering his prime and was once a top 100 prospect I believe... Which is apparently our theme this year.
  10. What have the Brewers been making on their TV deal in recent years? I'm guessing it's less than the 40M that the Marlins are about to sign? Also, I see that the Marlins are negotiating this with Sinclair, so not going out and doing their own thing. I sure hope that these MLB teams are urging Sinclair to work out deals with the streaming services, otherwise I just don't understand any of this (if nobody can actually watch the games)? Hmm weird, they made it sound like would be their own network thing, like Yankees, Cubs, etc have... Maybe I heard it wrong.
  11. Just heard on MLB Network radio the Marlins are close to their own TV deal... They would be making $40 mil+ each year.
  12. This forum would burn to the ground if Mitchell and Small were traded for Candelario. He showed a breakout possibility last year but he still has a career line of .235/.326/.721 slash in 1367 PAs and is already 27. No thanks. You would rather put a SS at 3B?
  13. Highly unlikely... Both are RHH of platoons... Yes they traded away Snell but Rays are still going after it, they arent blowing everything up.
  14. Good OBP? .287 career. You must be talking minors?
  15. Good OBP? .287 career. You must be talking minors?
  16. we already have McKinley... I dont get this move.
  17. Just because a scrub like Shoemaker signs it doesn't mean the Brewers won't sign another starter. Still quite a few decent starters available. Nothing good outside of Walker and Odorizzi. Brett Anderson does nothing for me. Porcello is garbage.
  18. Another starter in our range gone... Shoemaker to Twins, 1 yr $2 mil. Yea were not adding another starter... So disappointing.
  19. According to sources, Walker is looking for a multi year at $10 mil per. That’s not happening either... Im sure Odorizzi isnt happening either. Looking likely that Zimmermann is gonna be our only addition for rotation, if he even makes it.
  20. Shoemaker is gone. Come on Stearns pull the trigger on Jake.
  21. They'll give Black another shot simply because he's quite possibly the hardest thrower in the system. The team will likely keep eight or nine relievers, and barring injury, five of those spots are likely spoken for with Hader, Williams, Suter, Peralta and Yardley. You have to think that Rasmussen and Topa are solid bets with good springs. Boxberger is going to be in competition with Black, Feyereisen, Wahl and Bickford. That will change even more if they decide that they need a 3rd lefty in the pen. Then Perdomo, Blaine Hardy, Hoby Milner, and Lauer (if he fails to make the rotation) come into play. And there's a complete wildcard in Jordan Zimmermann, who fits either as a back-end rotation guy or a long man if he shows enough in spring training. File and Bettinger are also on the 40-man roster, and will be given plenty of opportunity to see if they can contribute to the 2021 major league team at some point. Boxberger probably does stand a solid shot of making the MLB pen, but he's got a lot of competition, and is going to need to show well in spring training. Agreed, although I would rather have Boxberger's experience... Rasmussen, Bickford, Feyereisen, Wahl all could use more AAA seasoning. Doesnt mean anything to me if Black is the hardest thrower in the system, won't be in the bullpen if he doesnt know where its gonna end up... We have plenty of hard throwers in the minors. I see the OD bullpen as such: Hader Williams Boxberger Peralta Topa Yardley Hardy Suter That's a very solid pen.
  22. I would love to acquire Kyle Seager but damn I did not know this....... He's owed: 2021 $18,500,000 2022 *$15,000,000 $15M Team Option Option may increase to $20m and buyout may range from $0 to $3m Doubt M's would kick in any money. But Wong/Cain/Yelich/Hiura/Seager/Garcia/Narvaez would be very nice!! Perfectly balanced lineup and bunch of power 3-7. Since we more than likely won't be getting Seager, see if Shaw can revert back to his 17-18 seasons and call it good... Shaw/Robertson or Shaw/Urias gives us good production at 3B.
  23. Thanks man!
  24. I was just gonna post about Frazier... I would take him as our everyday 3B. At this point, I either want Shaw (Platoon with Robertson) or Frazier (everyday) and then sign Odorizzi to a 1 yr deal with a option for 2nd year.
  25. Mr Allen.... Can you do the baseball reference thing on Lamb and Shaw? I say we add either of those two to platoon with Robertson and then sign Odorizzi... Done, decent offseason I guess.
