  1. I really like Dave Bush. I think he can be a solid #3. His biggest downfall is giving up the HR ball. He had an awesome WHIP this past season. I believe one of the best in the NL.
  2. You read my mind. McClung has the closer stuff and mentality. If he is only throwing 1 or 2 innings at the most as the closer he can really let his stuff go and constantly throw his fastball in the high 90's.
  3. Another reason why I'm thinking more and more about just staying in radio part-time for fun and not going for a full-time gig. All those on-air people at KTI were dumped just like that.
  4. and probably drink a lot of us under the table. I did notice in her radio appearances that she did seem like she enjoyed going out to the bars and drinking it up. I'm sure she could hang with me and most of us.
  5. You will be able to see him starting 1/1/09 on the MLB Network.
  6. Totally agree. The thing I like about her most is she comes off as a fan and someone who is really passionate about the club like all of us. She also used to be on AM 620 every Friday morning during Brewers 360.
  7. I have a feeling she will still do Brewers games but will have a role with MLB Network as well. At least I hope that is the case.
  8. Gmail, not even close. I have had mine for about 3 years now.
  9. I want Torres back, but as a setup guy. I want a better closer or try McClung as a closer.
  10. That is a pretty good point. I didn't even think of that. Makes a lot of sense. I still think 4 years $100 mill would be the best we can possibly offer CC.
  11. Good to hear that Melvin at least sat down with Towers and had a discussion. If it wouldn't cost us to much and we can get CC back I would love to see Peavy pitching for us.
  12. I like the move. If there had been a good left handed hitting CF out there then I would have prefered that. But with that option not really available Cameron is probably the best option for 2009. And now we don't have to worry about a possible TGJ experiment.
  13. Braun and Gallardo? Sounds good to me. Great choices, I to like the notion of Hardy being featured. No Fielder does not bother me one bit.
  14. I went a couple of years ago. It's a lot of fun and lots of cool stuff to see/buy.
  15. I hope Doug Melvin at least inquires about Peavy and what the Padres may want in return for him. Since it looks like CC is as good as gone would be nice to get another ace.
  16. 5 years $100 mill. No way CC takes that. Melvin shouldn't even bother offering that. He should start working on swinging a trade for a pitcher.
  17. I do like the new red uniforms. That is about all I can say that I like about the Bucks. Just no interest at all.
  18. I would agree with this. Guys are kind of set in their ways anyway. But maybe Sveum can pound it into certain guys heads to go the other way, something Skaalen couldn't do.
  19. I don't have any real info on this but I would imagine that people who work for the MLB Network will not all be exclusive to the network. Similar to the NFL Network. Some will still work for their local teams.
  20. Dude, where was gas $1.97? That is insane! I filled up for $2.39 yesterday in Germantown and thought that was sweet.
  21. I read on the MLB Network Wikipedia page today that Matt Vasgersian, Hazel Mae and Trenni Kusnierek would be part of the on screen personalities at the network.
  22. I watch as much baseball as possible. Of course every Brewers game but if the Brewers are not on and a different team is playing and I'm home I will watch. I also watched as much of the playoffs as I could besides the Brewers/Phillies games. Really enjoyed watching LA and Tampa games this post season. I like football A LOT, but I LOVE baseball and enjoy watching any game.
  23. I'm not a Halloween guy in general. I could care less about this "holiday".
  24. For me worst episode of the season. The only good thing was the Dwight/Andy Cornell stuff. And even that couldn't save the episode for me.
