  1. I'm with SeriesFinale. Just call it in and be done with it. Obviously the guy knows he shouldn't be parking there and knows he's taking a chance of getting a huge fine and doesn't care. Pointing out the obvious to him just increases the chance of arguments and confrontation.
  2. The Coast Guard found it. {From the same links as above)- A small, corporate-size plane went down in Lake Michigan this afternoon, according to the Coast Guard. The Milwaukee Police Department notified the Coast Guard that a plane went missing about 4 p.m., Petty Officer David Warfel said. The Coast Guard found the plane about 20 minutes later, he said.
  3. I'm working until 10P. Next time definitely though.
  4. After tonight's show I felt like I had to watch my own back. This is the one that I think most people have been waiting for. I agree. I'll read discussions about the show on other forums where people will say that they're going to immediately watch the episode again and I always wonder why. Once is always enough for me. But this one I'm definitely watching again. I rewound the DVR a bunch of times to rewatch certain scenes. And how about the preview for next week? It didn't give us a whole lot of hints about what's to come.
  5. I'm in Tosa but nowhere near where this happened. I live about 45 blocks east. I didn't hear about it until somebody told me last night.
  6. My first thought is interference on the pitcher and the runner is safe.
  7. Oh yeah, that too. I think it may have been Animal House for that reason which you speak of. You'd think that would be more vivid in my memory than the swearing one.
  8. Maybe this is a dumb topic but do you remember the first movie you ever saw with swearing in it? I remember my buddy's dad took us to see Smokey & the Bandit 2. I guess it would have been back in 1980. I even remember the scene. I think Reynolds & Deluise were in a warehouse and they were picking up an elephant or something and they noticed that it was in a huge crate and then I think they both uttered an expletive at the same time. My parents weren't strict bible bangers or anything. It was just that for some reason I didn't realize that there were movies with swearing in them up until that point.
  9. That is pretty cool. It reminds me of the fact that although I don't begrudge anyone for hunting animals and realize that the animal I just ate for dinner didn't die any deader than the one that you shot, I could never be a hunter.
  10. Gayles' mother said she plans to fight the school board ? in court if necessary ? to get her daughter's diploma. The noise "was like three seconds. It was like, `Yay,' and that was it," Carolyn Gayles said. "'Yay' and that was it." Yep, I'm sure that was it. And the ACLU wasn't exactly eager to jump all over this one I see. But yeah, I can see both sides. Kind of hard to get excited either way unless you were there to see what actually occured.
  11. Oh, this could be fun- http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v288/gypcasino/blacklabelbeerbottle.jpg
  12. The best things I ever won were a trip to Las Vegas with lodging at the Mirage from WKTI in '98 or '99 for being the 10th caller when they played the secret song. I remembered for awhile but have since forgotten what the secret song was. It might have been by REM. And in '03 or '04 I won a year of free digital cable & RoadRunner on Bill Michaels show on WTMJ by being a certain caller. Caller 7 I think.
  13. I won quite a few things back in the olde tyme days when I used to listen to "terrestrial" radio.
  14. Right, that's in July. There's something called Taste of Summer Next weekend- www.atasteofsummer.com/ht...rtain.html
  15. No more robot. Now it's a "Samsung Q1 Ultra Mobile PC."
  16. i can't believe and elected official in my city would talk like this You must have missed it in '05 when he said "Any man that would pull another man's pants down is a straight-up sick (bundle of twigs)." ETA: It was in regards to the Jude case at a rally. He didn't just bust it out one day out of the blue at a meeting.
  17. I would have played on Yahoo but it's blocked at work & I'm working late all week.
  18. I'm up for that. I live in Tosa so it's a pretty quick jaunt for me.
  19. So how about a date and a place for the first one. I'm working late hours next week but pretty much anything during the week of June 10th would work for me.
  20. I'd really be interested. I'm not a novice but I'm not an expert either. I just don't want someone delivering a beatdown if we're playing JD partner & I screw up a hand because I didn't know who was partners right away.
  21. TBA is not just in the area. They're omnipresent. Every promoter's dream, really.
  22. I know there are a few fans here. Anyone know why Bret's playing a solo show in Waukesha on June 8th? The actual Poison summer tour starts the next week and they'll be in Waukesha & Fond du Lac in July but I just noticed this Taste of Summer thing that he's playing at at the Expo Center that runs from June 6-10.
  23. If you do go that way, here's a website with some godaddy codes that should take a few cents/dollars off the final price. Thanks for that. Yeah, search for the best deal on the actual domain registration. It really doesn't matter who registers it for you, everyone is providing virtually the same service for that. So basically, if you request a domain name and it's not in use nor is someone "squatting" on it, you're just paying a company to register it with whatever orginization oversees domains right? And when you say "huge hosts" are you talking about the amount of bandwidth I can use? If it's going to be mostly text with a few pictures, I don't have to worry about paying for bandwidth and whatnot? Does my 9 bucks a year pretty much cover everything? The web page itself is going to be a piece of cake. It's just these other things that up until now I've never dealt with.
  24. I want to set up a website with a .com name. It's a name nobody else would ever use so it's available & cheap. What is the best way to go about registering it? I can buy it at godaddy for $8.95 a year. Should I do that?
  25. Where do you live bball?
