I really like the way the Brewers are set up for this series pitching wise. Getting Game 1 was huge. I know the Braves technically take back home field if they hold on today, but I think our pitching depth nullifies that somewhat. Still feel way better 2-0 of course.

Great play there from Luis. Time for the offense to put up a real inning. I don't think two wins today. We'll see.

Offense is going to have to put up some runs. Keep it at two. Really should have had one of those runners at home. Hope at the end of the night we're thankful that hit the top of the wall.

Giants just turned an incredible double-play. Wow. And we are lucky to have BA on the TV side. He's a pro. Glad he gets the chance for national paydays. Edit: Yes, Jason. I love that about this site. I come here to post about a random cool play in a non-Brewers game, and somebody's a few seconds ahead of me. October is cool around here. -
Had the same reaction. Wonder if Maile even gets an AB. Even if he doesn't, there are really no changes I'd make to this roster. EDIT: also realizing Burnes only threw 91 pitches, which, given his rest level, may allow him to pitch Game 4. We'll see how it goes, but I feel better about him on short rest than I would have otherwise. Still would like to avoid it, but today opens the door at least.

Yeah, AM radio is a bleak landscape these days. A lot of the ESPN affiliates don't carry some of the live events, and every station chooses (football) talk over any other programming. If you're not in a team's local or on satellite, good luck. I miss the days when you could pick up Reds games from just about anywhere in the Midwest.

I had a hunch Burnes' first inning escape was going to be huge. I know Houser gave up the dinger, but his 7th was about as clutch as it gets. Right through 4-5-6 with an easy, efficient inning.
