  1. Thought the same thing. Offense is going to need to win it tonight. Noce to get a break on the challenge. Looked simultaneous to me
  2. It's weird. I don't like the Dodgers one bit. I think, in a one game situation, we probably have a better chance of beating the Cardinals. Still, I honestly hope the Dodgers sweep them. I just really can't stand STL. Any season where they miss the playoffs is a good one. Of course, beating them in a postseason situation would be nice too...it's just that the smallest possibility of losing would drive me up the wall. I think I would enjoy a WC game more if it was against an unlikable team vs. an intolerable one.
  3. Yeah, I think I'd rather by 4 up on LAD and 3 up on STL than 5 and 2 respectively. I think I will go with AZ as well, since that would put us 3.5 up on CO should they fade. Bigger difference between 2.5 and 3.5 than 6 and 7.
  4. Just saw that the Cubs have moved the start time back to 7PM after originally having scheduled a 1:20PM first pitch for Friday (one of the ways the Cubs have dealt with their limited night game allotments has been Friday afternoon starts). I don't really care that much, but it seemed worth noting, and it did make me wonder about MLB policy regarding pitch times. It really seems like there should be a weather- or other contingency-related reason to make a switch on basically 36 hours notice. Anyway, wasn't sure where to put it. Don't think it's a big deal and understand why they're doing it, but if anyone knows the MLB policy I'd be interested in it.
  5. Okay. JJ. Do not mess around. Still need 3 outs. Can we make them drama free?
  6. Doing just that is one of my favorite things after Cub losses. Though I also have to say that a lot of the hosts do a pretty nice job, at least on WSCR.
  7. The Grandy bomb was great, but I will be disappointed if we can't scratch at least one more.... Lift one, Moose!
  8. Whew! Did not like Soria v. Murphy.... Did not know about Schwarber having an injury either. Thanks!
  9. I think we will see Soria, Hader, JJ here, but maybe Hader comes in after Soria gets the first two outs then struggles in the 7th
  10. I feel like it is going to take 5 to win tonight honestly. Both pitchers walking tight ropes, bullpen game now, good hitters available for both teams.... Don't overmanage it, CC....playing too match-uppy scares me.
