  1. It really hurts to be handing the Phillies runs with their Sunday lineup and a struggling bottom of the rotation pitcher on the mound.
  2. Urias is no faster getting down the line than Arcia, and that isn’t fast.
  3. Just checked the score to confirm I wasn’t missing anything. Do you think this is the first time in history that a team has had the best record in the league this far into the season with a negative run differential? If the current score holds as final, and my addition is correct, the Brewers will have won 9 of their last 13 games while being outscored 60-44.
  4. Time to spend the day outside. I said I wouldn’t be upset if they got blown out today, and I’m not. Throw the sacrificial lambs out there and get ready for the road trip.
  5. Tough way to give up a run and keep the door open for a game breaking inning.
  6. Tell Feliciano not to swing to stay out of the DP and take your chances with Wong.
  7. It really hurts to lose this one while using Hader. With a spot starter and no back end bullpen, tomorrow will probably be a blowout. Wouldn’t be surprised to see a position player on the mound at some point. I keep telling myself that if you had told me before the series that the Brewers would win two, I would have taken it. Tonight’s game was there for the taking.
  8. I can’t watch Rasmussen. I sense a 3 or more run inning coming up, and with Maile and the pitchers spot coming up the Brewers are likely to have a man on second with 2 outs for Wong.
  9. Come on JBJ. Don’t chase pitches out of the zone. Need the veterans to come through here.
  10. I’m surprised Counsell would be bringing Hader into a tie game when he has pitched the two precious days. It seems like his performances when pitching 3 days in a row haven’t been great, and that will definitely take him out for tomorrow.
  11. It feels like the Brewers failed to take advantage of May’s departure by not scoring more than one run against the succession of the Dodgers’ back end relievers. Now the Dodgers have the advantage as the Brewers are without two of their top relievers tonight.
  12. Why I hate replay. All it does is push controversy to a different level. The application of the “conclusive evidence” or whatever the weasel words are, is horribly inconsistent.
  13. Hopefully Woodruff won’t be affected by the long gap between innings and having to spend part of it standing on base.
  14. Anyone who plays fantasy knows that there have been a ton of injuries in MLB this year. The Brewers and Dodgers both have their share, but they aren’t alone.
