  1. I'm not. I already knew Roenicke was stupid. We don't need Garza being hurt. He's been pretty darn good for the last 2 months +. Losing him for any period of time at all will be a killer. Of course I"m not happy about Garza being hurt and I hope he'll be okay but it would be super concerning of our manager would pull his pitcher in that situation without the hurler being injured.
  2. I will say I'm glad it was because of an injury and not some stupidity by our manager.
  3. They didn't look mentally soft yesterday when they scored 7 runs after falling behind by 4 early. They looked mentally soft blowing a 2 run lead on the road in a big game. Nonsense. The manager has a brain fart and the reliever can't hold the lead = the team is soft? We're all upset but saying the team is soft is silly.
  4. May have pulled garza after one hit 70 pitches to pinch hit over bay with 2 outs and a guy on first in a 2-0 game. If this was RR's thinking he's a goof. It doesn't make any sense AT ALL.
  5. Wasn't there a replay recently - in one of our games in the last home stand (the Mets?) - where the replay umpires got it clearly wrong and it hurt us?
  6. This is what I thought too when I heard the news. Wasn't our bench an area of need?
  7. Holy smokes! I didn't know the Cards lost yesterday. I hope the Padres win again today.
  8. With the Rays hot like this they aren't going to be sellers any time soon.
  9. He didn't necessarily, I just figured a lot of the voters tied him to that whole group of guys so I threw his name in there.. even though he only missed the hall by two votes, and he'll probably get in. so I guess saying his name was a little unwarranted? I think some of the writers associate him with it which is unfair, but that's life?. That really has nothing to do with the question, but yea. Ryan Braun already blacklisted from HOF? Possibly. For some reason he is reviled more than other ball players that got caught mostly because he lied about it. However, he isn't the first nor probably not the last to lie about it. The only way IMO he gets in is if in the future folks forgive and forget. Braun may be an old man before he gets in.
  10. I was thinking the same thing. Last night wasn't one of RR's better games. It almost looked like Ron was going for a tie rather than the win with that move.
  11. I've been fed up with Weeks for a while...
  12. Medical call? We were out last night and the game was on a TV in the background so I'm not sure what was happening either. It appears the bats were hot.
  13. The Pirates are the worst. The Reds aren't bad. IMO the Marlins' Rich Waltz and Tommy Hutton are the best.
  14. We don't get MLB Network here at UWGB but FSNW is showing a condensed version of the game tonight so I'll check it out later.
  15. I'm glad to see I'm not the only gal here on this site.
  16. Will this be shown again at a later date? We don't the the MLB Network up here at UWGB but I do get it back home in FL and we'll be returning home in early August.
  17. This was a big win for us last night. It is even sweeter when the Cards lose too.
  18. I don't recall many times where Brauny would go after a 3-0 pitch.
