    I looked at the Fox Sports Wisconsin web site and it says it will be shown on that network here in WI tonight.

    What is .gif? Anyway, this is terrible for the Cards right now, but if they manage to make it to the post season he will be rested and very dangerous. Nobody knows how Tony Cruz will play when suiting up every day, but if he can bat .260 and curtail the Martinez/Shelby Miller wild pitch caravan we might still get a wild card. I can assure you that there will be lots of tears in their Budweiser beers tonight at Busch Stadium. I don't know the nature of the BP/Hamilton injuries (or Baily for that matter) but without them the Cubbies they finally beat the Reds. This is a window that the Pirates and Brewers could slide right through. Not if we don't get out of this funk we are in right now.

    The pitching hasn't been terrible outside of Smith and Peralta yesterday. We can't hit worth a damn. We are making the Phillie's pitching staff look like a collection of Cy Youngs.

    I have a problem believing RR and the coaches don't see what is going on and are just letting it slide. One would think/hope the coaches are telling their players to be more selective but it is apparent nobody is listening. What more can they do - besides remove Jean from the #2 spot?

    Lose the series? There is a good chance we're gonna get swept. Until this bunch learns not to swing at crap out of the strike zone we will be out of first place by Monday. They have not shown any plate discipline all year and it finally catching up with them. Outside of Peralta yesterday the pitching hasn't been the problem in this crisis.

    This kind of stuff belongs in Playgirl (is that magazine still around?).

    What is happening with Braun this year with all of these ailments tells me he is clean right now. I suspect he is tested regularly this season. I hope this latest setback won't keep him out of the lineup very long.
