  1. Good riddance of these bums. Get out and never come back...played like trash and act like it too. McCrory who? Is Reuvers the guy who got WORSE over 3 years after flashing potential? Sounds like a bunch of entitled crybabies that should have spent more time ensuring they didn’t lose 15 games.
  2. After seeing Davante say “I grew up with 0 dollars, im going to show up and earn all of the dollars I signed in my contract,” as far as I’m concerned Rodgers can stay home with Shailene and enjoy his life just as much as see him back. He has no cards to play....Denver? Good luck with that being a better situation. I’m not sure Green Bay fans will be as forgiving to Aaron as they were to Favre, the latter was a much more overall like able person.
  3. I remain fairly unconvinced of the necessity to get myself vaccinated, although I hold absolutely no judgement against anyone else that decides to, or decides not to. I feel like I’ve been sold something by a used car salesman with all these politicians, actors, sports teams, etc begging for it, and not so much a health decision. At some point I may get the J&J, but who knows.
  4. I see this comment, or one similiar quite often. Not trying to be a jerk about it, but can you list the players that the larger market teams have taken from us once the team control was gone? I'm talking about players that it really hurt us to lose... Prince Fielder, who else? (that one turned out to be a blessing in disguise) sAbAtHiA probably
  5. I realize how hard it is to develop pitching but small market teams must consider everything to sustain success and right now our lack of depth is being exposed. The lineup is a joke and the minor league system has nothing even close to changing that fact. Again it’s great having two aces but it’s also no fun watching this team struggle to score any runs at all. I am not even saying we should move either of our aces but we should be willing to listen on everyone if the right offer is out there. Something has to be done about this lineup and no one should be off limits. We were leading the division with those garbage players until a few days ago. It’s the beginning of may, R-E-L-A-X. I’d trade Hader or Devin before any starter even enters the conversation of trade bait.
  6. Sure was nice to see the brewers on tv yesterday for once, and then have to turn them off by mid-way through the first inning.
  7. What the hell was that? I’ve barely watched this year, but for having watched Trice, Davison, Ford, etc etc for 3-4 years that was downright PATHETIC as far as common sense toward the end. Wow...Potter can’t (and shouldn’t be asked to) do it all folks.
  8. Didn’t think it was an option for me until last year. Pretty very indifferent now and can find something else to do if they don’t want me watching them play. Can always watch the Yankees since they’re on 90x a month
  9. I’ll just live without the Brewers I guess. Sorry to be the Debbie downer but the longer these networks pull this BS the less I (and imagine MANY others in the post Covid life) care about sports. It’s the same way with the Wild, can’t watch a freaking hockey team in the state of hockey. They can all screw off.
  10. Started buying some Redfin today in the mid $80s. Hoping for a dump on earnings tomorrow to add more. HODLing
  11. We’ve been thinking a bit of how nice it would be to sell our house in Mound (western suburbs) and either move to the east side of the twin cities or wisconsin to get closer to family and cheaper, and pay a big chunk / all of our student loans off. Paid 250k 3-4 years ago and probably would fetch 350-375k overnight. It’s ridiculous. The problem is I think we’d literally be homeless lol unless we just buy another house for the same or more $ than the one we have now. This whole free money thing for mortgages is really making a mess of the housing industry and I don’t think it’s getting better any time soon. I can’t find anything on simple searches an hour of the cities anywhere that’s not already pending.
  12. Force yourself to try it. I promise you once you get over the initial wave it is not hard at all. I haven’t watched a Bucks game in 2 years (sadly this one is political in nature and really disappointing but im not going to just take being slapped in the face nightly and smile), and rarely watch Packer games now. Radio or bust...your life opens to do so many more things to do it amazes. NHL on the other hand....a must watch.
  13. If Watt can stay healthy I view a signing as very Woodson-esque. A once great player with some “does he have it anymore?” questions attached. I know signing him would make me re-engaged with football again because I’ve been drifting off the past couple years between the politics and Covid. Really hope they can come together on something.
  14. Nothing spells inspiration better than retread mediocrity Joe Barry being hired for DC.
  15. Blame Bud all you want, this entire team hasn’t had an inclination of wanting to win a title for several weeks, or basically since they went to Orlando. SJW is more important and you can see it in the lack of focus.
  16. I can proudly say I didn’t attend a single party in college. And no I wasn’t a book nerd. Lol
  17. No, you're not following this correctly. Remdesivir was developed more than a decade ago as a Hepatitis-C treatment (didn't work well), and then studied as an Ebola treatment. It takes years to develop a drug, so they are testing available drugs already on the market that have anti-viral or anti-inflammatory effects with the potential to counteract some of the known or hypothesized pathways of the disease. As a FYI, the "cost" (before rebates, discounts, etc.) of an average Hepatitis-C drug is over $50K for about 8-12 weeks of treatment. Peter Maybarduk, a lawyer at the consumer group Public Citizen, called the price “an outrage.” “This is a drug that received at least $70 million in public funding” toward its development, he said. “Remdesivir should be in the public domain.” “The price puts to rest any notion that drug companies will ‘do the right thing’ because it is a pandemic,” Dr. Peter Bach, a health policy expert at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York said in an email. “The price might have been fine if the company had demonstrated that the treatment saved lives. It didn’t.” I find that quite rich out of Dr. Bach considering Gilead basically gave away millions or billions of dollars in profit on Sovaldi to cure HcV. I’m much more ready to criticize the government for being in the back pocket of big pharma for favoring these sketch drugs over hydroxychlorique and other cheaper drugs that pretty much do the same thing. Fauci in particular is in big pharmas pocket.
  18. Again you are just justifying why you wear a mask and why the person who doesn't is evil for not following what you feel is right. By using scientific statistics to choose to act in a way that primarily benefits others? I guess I can't agree with the logic that your rationale somehow makes that a self-centered choice, since that's virtually the definition of selfless, rather than selfish. If your point is that some people wearing masks incorrectly think that the mask is for their own benefit, I agree completely. But the above takes quite a bit of a leap for me. Wearing masks en masse is contributing to the elongation of this “pandemic” as we are preventing herd immunity. Like it or not, one way or another almost all of us will have to confront covid19. So in this non-mask wearing persons view (but still social distancing and basically doing nothing/driving myself insane since february), i don’t view responsible non mask wearers to be in the wrong, but to each their own.
  19. He was decent for a bit...one of the great things about COVID19 is they are being forced to play reruns of REAL WWF/WWE. Bringing back memories I thought were long vacated from my mind! Forgot all about Meeeeeeesta KENNEDY too. He was fun.
  20. It appears Wuhan may have had coronavirus in...wait for it... August 2019, per Harvard. Satellite imagery showing the hospitals experienced a surge. If true, the world is going to have to unite and figure out how to put china on its knees...starting this whole thing by yelling fire in a crowded theatre is next level war games type stuff.
  21. I have the impression from the media that OMG TEXAS ARIZONA GEORGIA etc are about to go into covid crisis. From the numbers you posted it doesn’t appear the case (big surprise)...although yes we’re having an uptick. To be expected with people going about their business and thousands of angry protestors completely ignoring the very social distancing guidelines they forced the country to obey. Uptick started prior to protests but you do you. If you reread my post it says “people going about their business, to be expected.” We both know it will uptick further once the protesting population becomes sick, but feel free to infer the political side. “You do you”

  23. Not being bearish but in my opinion the “virus” cases are about to spike here in the next few weeks...could see the market yanked. I’ll be taking profits on anything left that I’m not holding long long term. Note we won’t see the lows again, but im thinking they try to shut us down again. Horrible for the economy and all of us, bullish for stocks. Just for fun I’ll probably buy a small position in Hertz (HTZ) this week too. Read the government is directly invested in them now by hook or crook, so thinking they won’t cancel the shares. Hero or zero type play.
  24. Unlimited fed printing and 0% interest rates really does wonders for a fake stock market doesn’t it? Oops sorry I was supposed to say “stimulates the economy.” 2020 pumping stocks is what 2019 was except all roided up. *Typing this as the futures are green and were on about 12 days in a row of the same exact “pumping stock futures at night and green markets all day long.”
