  1. Worst rumble I’ve ever seen. At least they tried with Melina and Molly Holly, the men’s rumble was horrible.
  2. I don't know the Broncos WRs very well. Who would you take of Hamler, Patrick, Sutton and Jeudy? If Adams is part of any deal, I would think the Broncos would be willing to give up one of those guys in the return package. Jeudy is one of the better route runners ive ever seen. Like Barry sanders playing WR lol stopping on a dime
  3. Ehh...I’d be careful with that HELOC stuff. Not many are financially knowledgeable or disciplined enough to do that.
  4. Look at PFF (iShares Preferred Stock and Income Securities ETF). The yield is 4.68%. That one was on my list that I was considering, thanks. Often times individual preferred shares are much higher than that yield, and the only way they trade under par is if there is a crash or serious company stress. PMT/A one I have. Bought some CRF this fall, not sure whether I’ll add, would prefer them do a rights offering to add. Also watching LULU, TSLA, DIS, TGT.
  5. Ugly. But all that matters sans Davis is the W in the end.
  6. Exactly. Why would we give our prospects away to sell a MVP caliber player at his bottom trough valuation to then go out and sign some (likely) early to mid 30s players to take his place? Nobody’s denying it sucks that he’s not playing well, but it’s pretty much pointless to deal him when you’re just going to shuffle the paper to some other guy with lesser talent that could fall off the map at any moment too. I’ll keep my prospects and hope they pan out for cheap talent to offset Yelich and see if he comes back in the future thanks.
  7. Well, it is "that" bad when you consider it is about to be 1/4 of our payroll. We have an average player eating up 25% of what we pay the entire team. It really is that bad... Yet we keep on winning and DS keeps making the budget work, despite having at least one “albatross” contract for his entire tenure. Odd. It’s almost as if we can wait for Yelich to return to a pretty good baseball player.
  8. It’s like the endless Braun contract whining found a new avenue into whining about Yelichs contract. No he is not where we want him to be, but the contract is not that bad, and it’ll look even less bad in a few years compared to the market rate.
  9. Agree. Prospect hugging is a thing. They may turn out (I'll be shocked if Hamilton ever contributes in the majors), but they probably won't. BrInSoN iS a fOunDaTiOnAl pIeCe
  10. At this rate let’s unload woodruff or burnes for the gold mine that’ll come. My god.
  11. Vikings have been BAD at home all season inexplicably, and good on te road. Usually “unbeatable.” Going to be interesting to see whether that trend continues or the packers run them off the field.
  12. Also a fellow graduate in Finance and I am finally using my degree to do Finance stuff. Well sort of I do all of the tech stuff now for a finance team but I do get to help with some of the finance stuff. This new position I lucked into only hired me because I have all this experience in Alteryx, R, SAS, Python and Tableau as the people who were helping them out left the company. Also if you graduated within the last couple of years with a degree in finance and have some tech skills in Python or R you would get hired really quickly. The company I am working for is basically sending people with no experience in finance at all to fintech classes all the time and also project management especially for AGILE certifications mostly as SCRUM or SCRUM Masters. Those are the two things most banks are looking for right now. Basically SCRUM and SCRUM masters to lead the projects for the fintech's that the company is having a hard time filling. Started my own business and unless I had no other choice, I can’t imagine myself ever going back to taking orders from somebody else. Truly a liberating experience I did not expect to be as strong as it is.
  13. Reading this article brought a real smile to my heart. As someone who graduated college in 2008 and spent essentially the next 4 years trying to find a job I can totally related to being on the other side and being treated the same way. Well, well, well. How the turntables... LMAO. As a fellow graduate (‘10) I will concur. To this day I have never used my finance degree for a single day and have many years of paying off the loans spent to get said worthless degree. That article is eye candy to me!
  14. i cant be the only idiot playing with SHIB dogcrap coin right?
  15. That sounds like what a lot of people were saying after his crappy 2020 short season... Yet 2020 which was a garbage trash season that counts for nothing for anybody and 2021 combined are only a seasons worth of ABs off a bad injury, and a bad back to boot. His final AB of the year was pathetic, but im sorry, not going to sit here with recency bias firmly planted in the head and call him trash because he ended our season. .265/.380 with 15-20 HR ain’t mike trout or mvp yelich but that’ll make the offense function just fine.
  16. Yawn. Yelich isn’t going anywhere, nobody wants his contract, and he’s not as bad as we saw this year. (and likely not as good as his best year). He’ll rebound back to being a useful player next year after an offseason of reflection and hard work.
  17. Never been so motivated. Hungry. One last ride. Etc. Good god.
  18. Call me crazy but I think Jameis is going to end up flourishing under Payton. It won’t be week 1, but by end of season i bet they’ve found their franchise QB.
  19. I agree. Anyone with realistic expectations should be content. Despite major cap constraints, the defending champs brought back 7 of their top 8 players, including their Big 3. They’ll also have opportunities to address needs later via trade or buy out like they have in the past with PJ Tucker, Marvin Williams, and Pau Gasol. But how can the Lakers just keep signing guys?
  20. Glad it’s ending tonight...missing my AGT lol
  21. I’d rather have Thanasis around than Semi. Not that he’s ever gonna be a world beater, but I think he should be playing a couple more minutes a night than he’s getting.
  22. I’m sorry, which part of the .420 OBP are you fed up with? Man ain’t even at his best and still on base nearly 1 out of 2 at bats. Sounds like a great idea to dump, maybe we can find some Yuni or Perez to soak those ABs up.
