    Dozier isn't having a down year. He's a second half hitter and every GM knows that. Supak and Stokes will never get him.

    Expecting "Way too much" of a 17 year old is too expect them NOT to tweet that they hate gay people, and tweet hateful stuff about people of color, women, and such? Or to at least DELETE it when they do? If that is "expecting way too much".....I truly weep for our future. I play a lot of golf so I get to meet pro athletes for various outings. More often than not I come away disappointed in the experience. I am a huge sports fan but let's put what truly makes them rich and famous in perspective. It's a skill set that really doesn't matter. They aren't heroes and they aren't philosophers. The bar is really low when it comes to gray matter and social studies.

    Realmuto seems reasonable. Not a chance on Dozier. They guy is an elite offensive 2B and with Machado off the market he will still command a premium despite being a rental.

    Hader was a kid who's only real skill is throwing a horsehide sphere 98 mph. We are expecting way too much from these guys. Many are just not very good people and why we care what they think is silly. The gay and black communities will be just fine regardless of his comments. We were blessed with Yount but most are just not great people. If you've met them you'd see that. Social media is just confirming that in writing.

    We will never get 4 years of a 4 WAR player who can play multiple positions for that package. No way.

    t Correct. Not even sure why this would have to be said. Pitching depth has been key to our success. We have no Nelson, a bad Davies and an average Anderson and yet, success. Sure our pen was great but the starters have done their jobs too. That's all true but no one can predict pitching year over year, let alone the "4-5 year window" It wasn't that long ago that Nelson was a true ace and Anderson was a sub 3 ERA starter combined with the greatest closer year we have ever seen including Rollie in Knebel. Now all three are question marks. When you have a chance to win you take it.

    Agreed. So much went wrong for Milwaukee and the mojo yesterday. Segura and Scooter playing great, the Hader mess and of course missing out on Machado and getting to play him coming off the losing streak. This feels very free fall ready. They need to shake up the narrative.

    So this subject went 90 pages for a guy no one wanted. Yeah ok. 2018 is now. We should absolutely without any doubt be tying to make the playoffs so I’m sure we aren’t done in July. This is a very odd take on his quote as I’m pretty sure that’s not at all what he said. It’s Manny Machado. Only a truly naive person would think he would go for a package of spare parts. If we were to acquire him it would absolutely be for a big package. So when we don’t get him, it’s cool we didn’t want him anyhow lol.

    They are the top WC team now and the Brewers haven't been to the playoffs too many times. Of course there is pressure to make the playoffs. If not why do they bother playing the games?

    Man would Realmuto be nice right now. Go get Realmuto, Wheeler, and Dozier. While I do think Dozier won't be super cheap, that is a very realistic package of targets.

    Vegas doesn't predict anything. They just move the money line to balance the payout and keep the viig.

    Yup. A guy who can get us into the playoffs is more than “just a rental”.

    When folks say just a rental it’s like saying just a World Series. Obviously he can’t save us by himself but I’d sure love to take a bite out of our disastrous 5-9 lineup.
