  1. Maddux and Glavine would have had 5 ERAs if we have e-balls and strikes.
  2. That would end in 2 seconds if players would hit/bunt to defeat the shift.
  3. At $8.5M now, what would his arby number be for next year?
  4. We could have had Kemp AND not have Braun’s contract. So much facepalm.
  5. Unfortunately he's already making $8.5 million this year so it isn't going to go down. That's another reason I didn't like the trade. Yeah, he has another year of control but that year of control is going to be expensive and I'm not sure if he's worth it. Years of control don’t matter when the years are expensive. But in Stearns we trust.
  6. It’s great to see Phillips playing so well. He is a guy that you just want to succeed.
  7. The Os board seemed to love the Brewers trade but didn’t like the Braves trade FWIW.
  8. We gave up a ton but we had to give up a ton to land a functional 2B. Shaw playing 2B not going to happen. Schoop is white hot now and he was incredible in 2017.
  9. Stearns figured out the market inefficiency are low OBA hitters.
  10. Carmoma our number 14 on MLB pipeline. Ortiz our number 7.
  11. We all knew Shaw wasn’t going to really be our 2B, no one bought that but I thought it would be Dozier instead of Moose and we trade for Gausmam in the package. Seems more simple.
  12. You’re calling a trade for 4 prospects a win/loss after 4 months? Lol
  13. After Peraltas performance last night they simply have to pick up a starter. The potential is clearly there but you can’t have a key starter throw 80 pitches in 3 innings. I’ve given up that the Brewers will fix the 2B/3B mess. They can’t trade Shaw because they won’t a 3B next year. As long as balls are hit directly at Shaw and we don’t need ground ball DPs I guess it doesn’t matter.
  14. Smart move if they could find a partner. They’d get a huge package then resign him if they choose.
  15. Wily has been pitching well in the closer role so far......
  16. Well the Yankees took back Champman and the same people who boo Hader etc will cheer him, so i guesss you pick your lines to draw. Domestic violence would be a hard no go for me.
