  1. Really no reason to delay things and no reason to request them to delay it. Not like they are trying to have fans.
  2. Aaron Rodgers really doesn’t strike me as a guy to demand a trade. It’s been frustrating for everyone in the organization...but it isn’t a disaster. Not really sure there is a better situation out there. I wouldn’t be shocked if he is slightly bluffing to get the Packers to finally do something for him that he really wants/believes in. I just don’t see him demanding his way out.
  3. So did we ever figure out what Pettine was doing right before the half? Did he decide to gamble and play man to take out the quick out opportunity (hoping to stop any field goal opportunity)? Does the press not get to talk to the DC after a game?
  4. I didn’t noticed it yesterday because of the PI call at the end...but there was, what appeared to be, a massive hold by the lineman on that same play. So bad it’s amazing it wasn’t called. Real disappointing the refs messed that last play up. Part of the game...but real disappointing.
  5. The worst part about MLFs explanation for the field goal kick was the fact he did it because he thought he had 4 timeouts due to the 2:00 warning. Problem is that was a terrible assumption with 2:05 left before kicking it off. A normal kick return and he doesn’t even get the 4th timeout he thought he had. The returner intentionally fell down gifting MLF the timeout. That is just brutal.
  6. I appreciate letting players...play. However, not when it turns into street ball. Which favored the Bucs because they were actually close to our receivers versus our DBs always 5 yards behind them. The way that game was getting called Pettine should have just gotten into their faces until the flags started flying. If they didn’t, good for us.
  7. Unfortunately none of the turnovers ended up in decent spots. A bit of bad luck there as they weren’t entirely “well either I make this crazy completion or it works as a punt”. The closest one to that was actually the dropped one before the half...of course we all know how that worked out on 4th down. The defense really wasn’t doing Rodgers and the offense any favors with them, more so just saving their own butts.
  8. Please feel free to elaborate on the differences, possibly without insults like "lazy" and "crazy" this time? For reasons already mentioned by other posters, I don’t think I need to regurgitate things you’ve already been told. The direction of the team wasn’t the same, Farve’s decline was a bit more obvious and Rodgers hasn’t been threatening to retire constantly. Of course Rodgers was also a much more touted prospect versus Love who I don’t think was even a projected 1st round pick (could be wrong on that). I really don’t buy the concern with Rodgers declining either. It was one year where is was really good instead of great, in a new system to boot. His stats were still really good. Favre on the other hand really hadn’t been all that great for years. Heck, you could go back to 1998 and see where Favre was starting to not be that special of a player anymore. There are arguments for taking a QB, but I just don’t like the Favre situation as a comparison. That was much more obvious.
  9. Comparing the Favre and Rodgers situation is crazy. They just aren’t that comparable of situation. The only reason this is beat to death as a comparison is because Rodgers is a Packer and was the guy who was drafted when Favre was still around. Mid 30s QB that had a QB drafted on him in the 1st round. That’s all that is similar, the rest of the details are vastly different. That’s not to say there isn’t an argument that the pick was justified...but comparing it to the Favre situation is kind of a lazy comp. maybe Love works out, maybe not. I guess we shall see. I will say I didn’t really like the pick. I thought it was years early. Love just didn’t seem like a special enough talent to waste such a valuable pick(s) when we had Rodgers. Of course I guess we will eventually see how good Love is. Whether that be here or somewhere else.
  10. He should figure it out while he still has Rodgers. Life won’t be as easy when he doesn’t have an MVP running the offense.
  11. Blaming Rodgers is serious desperation to find a way to blame everyone in the stadium. His stats we still amazing despite one (maybe two) TDs that failed because of his receivers, an INT that wasn’t his fault, and his receiver dropping a 2pt conversion. I mean, honestly, you can’t expect him to play much better. Really blaming him for some failed drives at the end? You can’t sit there and expect him to drive them down the field every single drive. Is he suppose to grow a jet pack and avoid defenders that are on his back in half a second? Criticizing him for not capitalizing on turnovers? It’s not like the Packers defense was picking Brady off at the TB 20. Most were glorified punts that started well into Packers territory after the defense already let Brady driving 1/2 the field. People complain about the over focusing on Adam’s in the redzone, but so much of that is the play calling. One of those plays was Rodgers rolling out and Adam’s the only option. I don’t think it is solely Rodgers focusing on Adam’s, it’s the coach calling the plays that is essentially Adam’s or bust.
  12. Blames goes on the coaching, that was the difference. Pettine was atrocious and even MLF was a massive head scratcher all too often. Just terrible coaching in critical points of the game.
  13. What a disgrace. Decent officiating and we win this game and I’m not a huge officiating blamer. Just ridiculous all day long.
  14. Right? Couldn’t you just effectively decline it and force the Packers to play?
  15. Of course there is...they're playing man and nobody was close. He's at LEAST getting it down inside the 2-3. Two guys were close to Rodgers. Go watch the replays if you would like. JPP looked like one of them. Then one right behind Rodgers.
  16. Also zero chance Rodgers runs that in...no way.
  17. You are against Tom Brady and you...kick a field goal to be down...5. What an idiot.
  18. Yup, was absolutely dumb. Just a ridiculous decision by MLF.
  19. Wow, what a different game this would be if the refs didn’t blow.
  20. Finally some decent special teams.
  21. Alright Rodgers, time to put the entire stadium on your back and give us a lead here.
  22. Arguably his best playoff performance ever...though he has had some great ones. Considering his offensive line has been lackluster, the fact his lead back got himself benched, his INT was due to a penalty, and Adam’s dropped a TD....incredible performance so far.
  23. COME ON MAN!!!!! Head to the bench like Jones sir, goodbye Brown.
