  1. Lol I should have waited to shovel. Maybe I will shovel my entire yard in a little bit. Sounds more enjoyable.
  2. Were there? I think 99% agreed this was the worst matchup. There was a ton of chatter on here of people scared of New Orleans. Namely Kamara.
  3. And then a trash punt. Solid showing guys.
  4. Lol, pathetic. Looks like another defense ready to blow chunks and waste another Rodgers season.
  5. Another third down conversion. Good way to lose.
  6. Aren’t scary things usually unexpected?
  7. Him and AB out is possibly game changing. Ouch. Also mentioned Vita Vea will only play about 25 snaps. Which would be close to 50% of the game.
  8. It is pretty nice for late January.
  9. Avisail Garcia is not an excellent fielder...he is okay, but hardly something I’d id consider positive. If is better than Ozuna it ain’t by much. I’m guessing the difference in 1B defense would be the bigger deal. Garcia is a much bigger target at 3 inches taller...so there is that.
  10. Stafford is in his 30s and has a mere 2 years remaining on his deal. If he doesn’t want to be there long term it makes a ton of sense for both sides to part ways now. Lions can get some value back and start their rebuild now. It makes them worse in the short term, but long term Stafford clearly isn’t their guy...might as well move on sooner rather than later. As for Watson...the Texans are a horrid disaster. Can’t blame him at all.
  11. Especially if it was Packers versus Bills. We would probably be favored.
  12. Yah...Badgers just played terrible. Had a golden chance down the stretch and handled the ball like they didn’t care.
  13. It really isn’t much of a team friendly deal. He probably has borderline positive value. That fact most MLB teams wouldn’t want a contract that large regardless of the player is a huge problem....and it is a giant contract for a guy in his 30s. After a knee injury and horrid 2020 I doubt teams would be drooling to get him. If he didn’t have such a terrible 2020 you could probably get an intriguing package of prospects, but don’t expect any studs. Really nothing valuable about trading for a guy with a $200mil contract. You could just go sign a stud in FA without the headache of a trade.
  14. Y’all aren’t tricking me, Chiefs comfortably.
  15. Interesting tidbit. Must have been someone a bit more notable than Daniel Robertson. I doubt Attanasio talks with borderline MLB players too often.
  16. It was definitely Saban(which I only remember because I just watched a profile on him the week before the CFB Title game). He wanted Brees and when he failed his physical, he said it helped him realize how little control he had in the NFL compared to in College. He couldn't overrule the medical staff as Wolf did with the Favre trade. Saban also could have taken Rodgers #2 overall in the 2005 draft, but took Ronnie Brown, and started Gus Frerotte at QB instead. Yup, Saban was all in on Alex Smith, but didn’t like Rodgers enough to pick him #2. Saban really whiffed on getting a QB in the NFL
  17. The first half of TTs tenure was so ridiculously good he, somewhat unfairly, really could only go down. The last handful of years were unfortunately a bit rough. In all honesty he built two Super Bowl teams. It’s too bad Bostick and HaHa Clinton-Dix blew the second one when it was literally on the doorstep to a trip to the Super Bowl. It’s easy to say he wasted Rodgers career, but getting to the Super Bowl a bunch isn’t that easy even in today’s NFL climate when looking at it. Outside of Brady it’s not like any other QB is going to the Super Bowl consistently or even often. Russell Wilson has only been to the two and as mentioned the second should have never happened. Those are his only two conference championship years so far too.
  18. It’s a boring pick for “best ever move”...but it is. Aaron Rodgers is the greatest decision and most impactful that TT ever had. Nothing else is even in the same universe. Now if we want to debate his second best move...that would be a fun one. Though that may be, not only picking Rodgers, but committing to him by trading Favre. He dumped Favre after a solid year (for Favre) and the team going 13-3 while losing the conference championship in OT.
  19. I mean sure, but at that point the damage is already done and it is just a domino effect after. If you sign some cheap risky option that sucks the replacements are arguably worse and you are just hoping to get lucky. So if he hits like 2019 he may not get 400 ABs, but his replacements are likely to be just as worse making the entire position an utter disaster for 400+ ABs
  20. He played two games at 1B last year...two games. He wasn’t even a full time 1B with Seattle. He had 80 games or so at DH and only 50 at 1B. He is a platoon DH in all honesty. In that role his offense is of decent value. At 1B he pretty much kills all value needing a platoon partner and being horrid on defense. If we can DH him and have a decent platoon partner great. He has played enough 1B in the past to be a short (and I mean short) term 1B if someone is out for a few days. It’s also much more reasonable to dump a guy after a poor season when you are a postseason ball club like the Brewers were when they got rid of Shaw/Aguilar. Vogelbach was on Mariners team that wasn’t very good. Speaks volumes to get dumped like Vogelbach when your team was fresh off a 94 loss 2019. Vogelbach is also pre arby when Shaw/Aguilar were projected salaries 10x more than his. Comparing them to each other is pretty inaccurate.
  21. What a deal for the Astros. Wish we could sign someone like Brantley instead of Avisail Garcia.

    Pizza

I usually have mushrooms that I add to frozen pizza. Fresh whole ones I cut. Big upgrade to a cheap frozen pizza.
  23. If the line holds up and they don’t turn the ball over it should not end up that close. Yes, the first meeting and last week the Bucs only won on the back of huge turnovers. However, that’s a big part of their game...turnovers. We have had two turnovers in the last 7 games or something crazy. This is not the week to start slacking with the ball. Honestly, when the OL plays well and we don’t turn it over there is probably not a team that can beat us outside of the Chiefs. Rodgers is simply on another level this year. If the OL keeps him upright and they don’t shoot themselves in the foot the offense is ridiculous.
  24. I will concur the Bucs offense was not impressive yesterday. They had 4 turnovers and all were incredible field position...yet they scored just 30 points. The defensive backs against their receiving core is a big story and the ability to put pressure on Brady will be a big key to them having success. If we stress Brady out we should have good success on defense and hopefully even force a turnover or two from him. Goff was picking us apart...Brady would be even more miserable on us. And of course...can the Bahk-less offensive line keep impressing?
