  1. Well there is zero chance the Mudcats change and virtually no chance the T-Rats change.
  2. Worried maybe, but not sure it is time to panic. End of the day we gave this guy $200mil to go hit like an MVP while he is young. Basically paid him to have a HOF career with us and be the modern day Robin Yount to fans. We aren’t paying him $26mil a year at 33-36 for him to be anything short of an MVP level player right now. If he reverts back to pre-2018 levels that would even be terrible and he was a borderline All Star player.

  5. Can’t say I recall the last time a guy pitched in both games of a doubleheader. Guessing it is a big no no. Fair to assume neither is available. They were both used in game one cause Counsell knew he had Burnes in Game 2...in my opinion.
  6. Good thing one of Stearns lone FA additions that was worthwhile has an option for $4.5mil. Gyorko probably isn’t that magical in the long run, but he certainly seems to look like a solid bat like he was before his struggles of 2019.
  7. That’s an error to be honest. May get scored a hit, but really no excuse for him to not get the ball.
  8. Flat out not acceptable by that pitcher. Jace Peterson at the plate, get him 0-2 looking silly, and you can’t even throw a strike to challenge him. That’s how to lose a game material right there.
  9. Peralta really just isn’t that good. He has some decent stuff, but without some legitimate control he is basically a Wily Peralta type guy who just wont be that productive. Ironically, they have the same last name.
  10. It seems there is very little interest from the MLB and the teams to have fans in the stands this year. I’d put the odds at 1%...there just doesn’t seem to be interest for such little gain. Next year I think they will figure out something with more time to plan and of course a long season of games to play. They can watch the test run of the NFL/College right now and not have the chance to be the failure causing a huge local outbreak from a game.
  11. A scrub finally pitched a no-no against us? Shocked it took this long. Hopefully Stearns can figure out how to construct at least a AAA offense next year.
  12. You simply can’t beat the Packers when Rodgers plays like this, you just can’t.
  13. I am fine with it but not if you let them score in 2 minutes. I mean we were getting stops earlier now it's like I feel we need another score. Yet that’s exactly what prevent defense creates if you don’t stop them, chunk plays.
  14. Vikings defense has been pretty bad, but Rodgers has been throwing darts and making great decisions. The pause he had on that touchdown was brilliant. Pulled the defender off to open the window for the millisecond he needed before Lazard hit the sideline.
  15. Historically Rodgers does that a lot. He will often go right back to the same guy after a big drop. He has also been a guy to not be afraid of throwing to young receivers versus feeding his star nonstop.
  16. Brutal. You already are past the first down...make the catch first man.
  17. He made a 50 yard kick 35 yards. It was a huge penalty.
  18. Way to head into half time 22 seconds too early. Pretty pathetic.
  19. Anything even 1% questionable is worth a challenge in the 9th inning. You literally have nothing to lose. No point to challenge. Hiura made no attempt to stay on the bag and left the field. There is no way to reverse the call and put Hiura on 3rd base.
  20. He was at 95. I'm not sure where this idea that Hader has regularly thrown 98, but I don't think that is necessarily true. He's been sitting at 95-96 on his fastball this year, and that is pretty much where he's at. He was hitting 97 a few times last year, but it wasn't until mid-year ... 80-100 games in. His first year up he was 99/100. My wife knows nothing about baseball but loved Hader cuz he could throw 100 mph. That’s the only reason I know he threw that hard. He wasn’t that last year, and seems to lose a mph or so each year... His velocity is down this year, however, he never really threw 100mph at the MLB level. Additionally his rookie year was his lowest velocity in his career before this year. His highest velocity came at the very end of 2018 in his last appearance. https://www.fangraphs.com/players/josh-hader/14212/graphs?pitchgraphs=true&statArr=&legend=1&split=base&time=daily&start=2017&end=2020&rtype=mult&gt1=15&dStatArray=FA&ymin=&ymax=
  21. Goodnight y’all, someone take the trash off the mound at the end of the inning. Another garbage pitch. Learn how to pitch Hader. This is exactly why he wasn’t and never will be a starter. He only knows how to chuck the baseball towards home. Absolutely zero ability to truly locate pitches.
