  1. Woodruff goes 8 and Hader autopilots a scoreless 9th for a shutout. Narvaez has a decent day. Bad days for the people who love to be critical of those guys. Though to be fair I’m usually critical of Arcia...hard to complain about much today. Great win! Let’s get some losses tonight and a win tomorrow! Go crew!!!
  2. There is absolutely zero chance that would ever happen under any circumstances. That rarely, if ever, happened 10 years ago when long starts were a thing if a no-hitter wasn’t active. EDIT: Except Johnny Cueto...that guys poor arm with the Reds...

  4. Yup, and hope the Brewers can score a run or two in the 8th or 9th so you can save both Williams and Hader for tomorrow. Is either even available today?
  5. Yes, I think they gave the Tigers the option since they are currently in Kansas City, but the Tigers (rightfully) said they wanted them at home if they need to be played. Cardinals offered to pay the Tigers to come to St Louis...they declined.
  6. Wouldn’t be the first time an athlete got a big contract and decided to stop putting in 100% effort. *leaves room*
  7. I fully expect to see Counsell after this inning ripping that mic off and smashing it with a baseball bat.
  8. Not to mention the announcers have zero respect/consideration and talk to him mid play. Shut up.
  9. What is this spring training? We are interviewing Yelich mid-game in a near must win game...
  10. I progressively hated you more and more as that video just endlessly went on. Wow that was some cringe worthy commentary. Though I didn’t see that, so I appreciate the video none the less. Lucky that situation didn’t end up worse...dude definitely seemed off his rocker.
  11. Well I think if we go 2-0 (I doubt it) we still have a solid chance. The only way we would automatically be out in that scenario is if the Giants/Phillies both go 2-0 also. Giants would simply have a better record and the Phillies would have a better inter division record to win the tie. Though I think the STL double header would be needed to decide if the Phillies or Cards made it. We could still get in and know that end of Sunday. A Giants 1-1/0-2 coupled with a Phillies 1-1/0-2. We would win the Giants tiebreaker and Phillies would simply have a worse record. Likely the Cardinals would still be stuck playing the double header to potentially get knocked out in favor of Philly/Giants. However, for us it wouldn’t mean a lot other than #7/#8 seed difference. Of course that’s my understanding at the moment.
  12. Agree with all of this Can one wonder on Hader's usage on the fact he is a Super2? By making him the 9th inning save pitcher, he's no longer that 3IP unique RP that should get PAID. He's now your everyday vanilla closer. Predicting his future Arbs now has a history to base the increases on. He will make way more in arbitration being a vanilla closer getting saves.
  13. We can’t lose this game and Lindblom straight blows today.
  14. I’m pretty sure there was a guy who snuck into countless Super Bowls...like he had a streak going. There was also a YouTube/Facebook guy I always saw who made videos sneaking into various pro sporting events.
  15. Walked in and out without being caught. Considering he was riding on a tractor kind of impressive. With the season still dead at that point in time guessing no one was really around. He is pleading not guilty due to mental illness or whatever the technical term is. You have to be pretty mentally ill to break into Miller Park, grab a tractor, try to write your name, and instead tear up everything. Apparently, the security guy saw him right away but he made a move and said something like he had a gun so the security guy, smartly, just kept an eye on him and called the cops. Ahh yes, 0:23 of the video...I thought he was just in his own world pretending someone was coming after him. Though surprising the police didn’t get to him faster. That entire ordeal looked pretty long and he still left on foot.

  17. That’s was my thought. Haha If I ever lose it mentally you will see me rolling up the tarps, throwing some pitches off the mound and then taking some BP after I raid the clubhouse.
  18. Not sure if we ever had an official thread for this incident (incident happened in June). The video has now been released of this mans Miller Park joyride. https://www.yahoo.com/sports/brewers-miller-park-man-break-in-damage-write-name-using-tractor-better-activities-164926808.html
  19. Last year Hiura smashed 23 doubles in just 314 ABs, right now he has 4 in 203 ABs. That is like...beyond bad. Hiura has been a pretty big doubles hitter throughout his entire baseball life, yet can't even buy one anymore.
