  1. “ThAts A fLaG” Glad it wasn’t called. Tired of game altering penalties of dumb stuff like celebrations.
  2. Glad I wasn’t the only one thinking that. I thought they had to see zero and then look up or whatever...thus true delay of game is essentially -1 second. I have never seen one called instant like that. Especially when half the time they give teams the benefit of the doubt and give them a timeout called after zero.
  3. That delay of game is garbage. I haven’t seen one called that quick in a long time.
  4. Wow, about time we start throwing it short when they constantly blitz...
  5. We have the better talent today, unfortunately we are getting far out coached.
  6. If the Brewers grabbed a 2-0 series lead in the WS and blew it...I think I would have to take sick leave for two weeks and see a therapist.
  7. Lol Packers, come on. Embarrassing
  8. This didn’t age well. Looks like Meatchicken and App St will be ahead of Wisconsin.
  9. To be fair the Kansas City defense is not very good whether it be pass or run. Heck, in recent weeks the people of Wisconsin would refer to it as ‘swiss cheese’. The offense is good, except the greater majority of why it is good will be wearing a head set and hat today. Also they are 1-2 at home. I’m not really sure if KC is a .500 team without Mahomes...but let’s just consider they are. I would still consider that a good win on the road. It, historically, is a tough place to play. It just won’t be the super bowl relevant matchup the world was hoping for.
  10. I mean it sounds stupid but I could see the name Brewers being dropped at some point for being not socially acceptable or something like that. Not right now, but some day. Not socially acceptable? In Wisconsin it is...alcoholism is like the coolest thing and other negative drinking related things.
  11. I unfortunately was not wrong...well...barely.
  12. #1 Why is everyone talking about saves and blown saves? Guys it is 2019 not 2009. Y’all suddenly jumping on the meaningless stats big time. Surprised wins wasn’t mentioned at this rate. #2 Yates was definitely the best reliever in the NL, but Hader was definitely still up there.
  13. Offense needed short fields...despite the defense having countless opportunities they never got off the field after one set of downs.
  14. Lotti is the MVP as far as offense goes.
  15. Ohio State settling for a FG attempt knowing that should pretty much win the game for them at this rate.
  16. From what I have watched this year he is pretty darn good.
  17. Definitely something one was hoping for into this game. Problem is they stop Taylor and our offense is pretty much useless.
  18. Defense needs to give this offense a short field. Not confident they are going to string many 80+ yard drives together. Annnnd they just couldn’t make it happen there. Bummer.
  19. I thought that for a second, but really would have been a horrid decision. At best you got first down in your own territory...you miss it and might as well pack the bags to go home. Gotta believe in the defense to start.
  20. I love our defense, but the athleticism of Ohio State could make them look real silly. They need a pass rush and be able to contain the QB from running. That’s the start of having a chance. If not I think our DBs give up some real big plays. We simply aren’t going to win a shootout so they better limit possessions. I will go 38-14 Ohio State, hope I am wrong though. I think they will look more hungover after the rough loss vs. hungry.
  21. Ultimate troll job would be switching to retros for the 50th year and then revert back to the current ones in 2021.
  22. Interesting. I would expect them to install a premium seating section in the field level. Although these always look terrible on TV because no more than half the seats are ever full. It is interesting they don't have better seats behind homeplate, but I think they are content with that. Last I knew they kind of pride themselves for not. More affordable/family friendly. I think they did well doing price hikes for the front of the sections, that made sense. I feel it would be much too involved of a process to try and do this now. The size of premium seats would throw off the entire section. Concrete likely needing to be ripped out and redone to have correct height. As far as making them wider, no, they will not. They would lose so many seats doing that. The club level has wider seats...I don't really like that level personally, but if you want a wider seat it is always an option. More on topic there will be a special grand reopening on the 18th at 7pm. Their reasoning for the close down is to prepare for the 50th anniversary with special merch and apparel. We will see if a special press conference eventually gets scheduled for November 18th.
  23. Other happenings in this related world of visual changes coming up: They get scoreboard money after 2020 season and they get money for new seats after the 2021 season from the Miller Park fund. A lot of changes on the horizon.
  24. Ha, oddly I was going to ask you in the SS thread why you didn’t mention the catcher in the KBO. The league OPS leader is a catcher. He is signed to a 4 year deal though.
  25. The notable part is they are renovating the team store...all that stuff was going to be sold off for pennies anyway with Nike coming in.
