  1. Yeah it was way better when everyone had a home and away jersey and that's it. I like to easily be able to identify every team by jersey and colors. The NBA has become the absolute worst with this. Like what team colors are the Bucks? I have no idea most nights. Could be blue, could be green, purple, red, cream, black, white. There's no identity. I know the Packers are green and gold and basically always wear the same iconic jerseys. Now if a team wants to do a turn back the clock night old time jersey here and there that's fine but it really shouldn't be more than once a year.
  2. Holy cow those might be the worst jerseys I've ever seen. Usually anything other than the regular jerseys is really stupid but this is truly awful.
  3. Wow that's a horrible mistake by the eye in the sky. We absolutely can't be missing free outs by not challenging.
  4. They're 34-33 with a -23 run differential, eventually the luck runs out a bit and they start to lose some of the close games that could go either way.
  5. Today would be a great day to win. If there's one thing I love almost as much as a Brewers win, it's a Minnesota loss.
  6. Damn, fresh out of extra medium. I'll pass.
  7. No it's worse than that. If the A's were in AAA they likely would be one of the worst teams in all of AAA.
  8. Yeah see Matt Bush actually did something very wrong in his life and did serve his time in prison for it.
  9. A lot of days you can chalk it up in part to facing good pitching, but not today. They faced a group of mostly talentless AAA/AA level pitchers and scored two runs.
  10. Well it is an offense of pretty much all bums. They don't rank at or near the bottom in every major offensive category for nothing.
  11. Given that the Brewers employ Matt Bush, they seem to be an organization that worries about if their pitchers can get outs and not much past that, as they should. They need bullpen help and should claim him or attmpt to work out a deal.
  12. Now available after being DFA'd. One of the best relievers in baseball last year. Will probably turn his season around once he gets as far away from Toronto as possible.
  13. I do think it's funny that people think the Brewers are the only team that doesn't use good bullpen pitchers when they're down a bunch of runs and that they're the only team that has the worst guy in the pen give up a bunch of runs in blowouts. Everybody has outlier games. Everybody has bad bullpen guys who pitch in blowouts. The Brewers do have a great manager and they do have an outstanding closer both of which do lead to winning more close games than others but there still has been a lot of good luck involved. That can't be overlooked.
  14. Maybe at least wait and see if Peralta ever has a season in his career where he qualifies before we start thinking of extensions.
  15. Gotta be nearing the end of Turang in the big leagues very shortly.
  16. I'm pretty sure if you set a tee on home plate and someone placed the ball on the tee using their left hand, the tee could pitch six shutout innings
  17. That's dumb, he's hardly pitched this year, if the situation arises he should be in there. The babying of pitchers has done nothing except lead to more injuries.
  18. Why are relief pitchers these days not capable of throwing 3 days in a row?
  19. Are they? Ruf is pretty old and might be completely washed.
  20. What, do you think this is the optimism thread?
