    What valuable pieces did the Brewers get for Sheffield? Are you talking about the great Matt Mieske? or better yet the ace Ricky Bones? or the hall of famer Jose Valentin? Which one of those were a valuable piece again? Ricky Bones was an all star. Somebody had to be that year.

    Oh, I remember the circumstances. He was baaaaddd leading up to being sent down. It was a bit sleezy, but that doesn't minimize how poorly his season went.

    Personally, unless the game is mind-numbingly boring, I think Uecker is the one who makes a game difficult to listen to.

    I think Braun is highly undervalued on this board. His contract is not an albatross to the franchise. He's paid at value according to today's market. He's still a top-flight offensive weapon.

    I believe they were all international signings. Herrera and Missaki were for sure.

    It's kind of 'meh' now, but I think Herrera will be an exiting guy to watch and Peralta seems to project to a MLB reliever at some point. Missaki is a tough one to get excited about.

    Peralta is 5-11. I know there are exceptions, but that tends to be a limiting factor when considering a player's ceiling.

    He's a 19 LHP sitting low to mid-90s in A-ball who showed pretty vast improvement from one year to the next. I'd say that's a nice player to bring in.

    Charlie Brown Christmas is my yearly must watch. The Christmas season starts for me when I see CBC.

    Do you understand what ceiling means?

    Because Jacob Gatewood has star potential and Hader/Houser are both most likely headed for the bullpen someday. That is the main reason most will rank them like that. Hader has all the ceiling/star potential that Gatewood has and a much higher floor.

    Are we overlooking this kid? He was one of those guys who "projects" to add velocity as he fills out. He's now listed as 6'3" and still only 165, but his numbers, including peripherals, look pretty solid. Who's made it to some Rattler games this summer? How does the young guy look? Where's his velocity?

    Who's the biggest Hader Homer? I am really excited about the kid. Hard to find a reason to "pump the brakes" on his potential.
