  1. I have 8 available for Tuesday night's game and 8 for Wednesday afternoon. Tuesday evening are section 127, row 7. $42 a piece. Wednesday afternoon is section 220, row 9, which includes the aisle seat. Paid $50 a piece. I was hoping to get a group to go to both games when I purchased, but the reality of being 3+ hours away for mid-week games set in recently and my crew fell apart.
  2. Still looking for tickets? Section 127 on Tuesday and 220 on Wednesday to unload.
  3. You seem surprised that there are contradictory opinions on a board filled with hundreds of different Brewers fans.
  4. I don't pretend to be a financial wizard of any sort. I just don't think losing 5% of games would equal a 5% drop in revenue necessarily.
  5. Except you wouldn't be eliminating high attendance games. You're not losing opening day draws. You wouldn't have to lose weekend gates. You wouldn't even have to lose many broadcasts, as FSN doesn't carry every game the way it is. What is average attendance league-wide for a Tuesday night in April?
  6. The owners How much really? I'd be curious how this would actually affect total attendance. Some of those who lose opportunities early in the year would likely end up picking up a game later in the year. How many paying fans do owners need through doors to make a game profitable? I wouldn't think cutting some games, particularly some mid-week games early in the season, would have a significant financial impact.
  7. Would anyone really miss 8 games if they cut back to 154?
  8. When my son gets to high school he will play whatever league we want him to play. The WIAA will not have any say in that... I don’t think the post you quoted was worded perfectly, and I’m pretty sure you took it the wrong way. The WIAA isn’t telling any kids when to play. They are responding to schools who are switching to the spring season because they lose summer players to traveling teams.

  10. This. I bought 8 for June 12 and 8 for June 13. Wouldn’t have wasted time trying if I’d have been competing for bleacher seats with Cubs fans.
  11. Why not just order them yourself? This isn’t exclusive season ticket holders. Are you not a Wisconsin resident?

  13. BF.net conspiracy to increase site clicks?
  14. This is not HH19. Sorry guys.
  15. Am I crazy in thinking that we actually have a pretty decent situation behind the plate currently?
  16. Broxton + lotto for Corbin?
  17. Really? I would bet that Brett Phillips never has an offensive season that surpasses what DS did last year at 24 years old. You must REALLY value defense.
  18. "Not only did the team make more money by lowering the prices" This was a direct quote from the article. It literally says that the team is making more money. I think Darren Rovell is probably financially aware enough to differentiate between revenue and profit.
  19. The article says they "made more money." I would say that refers to profit, and not just revenue.
  20. I don't pretend to really understand cryptocurrency, but I've read enough about them to be intrigued to investing some "spare change" what I'd view as a lottery ticket. IOTA has me intrigued. What would be the best way for a guy to throw $500 or so into this to get going?
  21. Arcia's defense is not elite? He had a pretty high E total, but he's got all the tools to be perhaps the best in the league.
  22. I see this guy on Twitter. Who is he outside of a guy who spends a ton of ti,e at ball fields in AZ. He always sounds like he knows what he's talking about, but that's easy to do if you know some lingo and cliches.
  23. Sadly it is more likely that they sign Garza to a minor league deal, and he goes on to finish top 10 in the Cy Young voting...
