  1. I'm really looking for something that provides a detail plan and structure that I can do at home with minimal equipment. That's why this system caught my eye. I keep hearing about it all the time so I'm looking into it. I can't argue with anything you posted, though.
  2. Hey, I've been thinking about picking up this program but I'm looking for some more advice about it. Has anyone here tried it or know someone who has? What are some thoughts about both the exercise and the nutritional plan? I'm most concerned with the time it will take to do the program right. Thanks.
  3. How long until you get this going? I haven't picked up the game yet, but may be doing so tomorrow or at some point early this week. How you picking teams? First come first serve? I'll take the Packers!
  4. I think you have to keep him through next year for sure and then re-evaluate. If you are one very good arm away from being the NL favorites, you get the arm and keep Prince, at least til mid-year to see how things are. If you are going into 2011 the same way it seems like we'll be going into 2010 (more than once piece away) then you pull the trigger on a monster deal.
  5. Keep me posted on here, dude. I haven't gotten the game yet, but I might be pulled in by thoughts of an online dynasty.
  6. stoutdude, I don't know what B2K is running, but I'd be up for some Madden play. I'll probably pick it up this afternoon.
  7. I'd be interested, but I'm not 100% sure that I'm going to buy the game. Not sure that helps you! Oh, is this PS3 or XBox360?
  8. Who is Fielder behind in the power category? Pujols?
  9. JJHardy7, your post seems to validate the quoted statement rather than make any argument against it as it seems you are attempting.
  10. How is that comment condescending? Maybe challenging, but hardly condescending. Brewer Fever seems absolutely right in what he is saying.
  11. Sound's perfect for me. I have a feeling this PC will tell us very little that we don't already know.
  12. I go back to school 2 weeks from today for 3 inservice days before I do my student teaching. AHH!!! I'm anxious and nervous and excited all at once. I don't remember ever feeling this scared/excited as a student. I didn't fret the return of school, and in high school I probably looked forward to it.
  13. Well who do you blame for basically not one pitcher on the roster showing great improvement from last year. Is it just bad luck?
  14. I was thinking the same thing, Al. If JK will come back for $1 mil or less and be willing to play part-time (why wouldn't he?), then I think this is a decent solution. Hopefully either Salome or Lucroy earn the majority of the playing time by June.
  15. When Macha is making out the lineup.
  16. I'm pretty sure I saw pictures of him signing. It was reported in a Tennessee(?) newspaper, as well.
  17. jjfan, I didn't mean to imply that one of the two would play a Rivera-like role (meaning warming the bench daily) for the Brewers next season. Whichever player is more ready for the majors will likely split time, whether they are the main starter or playing a couple of games a week.
  18. How will they both be in AAA? There is no DH, right? They aren't going to hinder both players development by sitting them on the bench every other day. I'd put money on one of the two being in Milwaukee next year, and it wouldn't surprise me if it was LuCroy.
  19. I think LuCroy has always seemed like a "safe bet" to turn into a major league contributor in some role, and has over time shown that he could be a starter. Salome has always seemed more hit-or-miss and his size and perceived defensive shortcomings have turned people off to him.
  20. I remember going to the gas station every Wednesday during my little league games. I'd scrounge up 50 cents and go get a pack of baseball cards. 16 in a pack; you don't see that anymore.
  21. Questionable decision to send him, but with the Brewer's inability to come up with clutch hits (lately especially) and the fact that El Caballo was out there in the corner in left, an argument could be made that it was worth the risk. It took a great barehanded pick up by Lee, a great throw by Lee, and a terrific relay by Tejada to gun down Counsell. Beyond that, Counsell was clearly safe. What the heck is the umpire doing standing directly behind the catcher to make that call? He couldn't have been in worse position to see a high tag or even a bobble of the ball.
  22. He definitely was safe and the ump was in TERRIBLE position to make that call. He was square behind the catcher, so he wouldn't have been able to see a bobble even if there was one. It sucks, but it took a perfect barehanded pickup and throw by a crappy LF and a strong throw right on the money by Tejada to get him. Worse decisions have been made.
  23. Again, I have no idea regarding the parameters of the deal and who was involved. I just know that there were talks and they were serious enough to begin constructing a press release. I don't even know how serious that means.
  24. I have no idea what the deal was made up of, just that there were serious talks going on. I agree that Gamel, Lawrie, and a couple young arms would probably have been asked for.
