I'm struggling a bit with hitting yet, but am getting better. It still seems impossible to hit anything over 95mph squarely, but it'll come I'm sure. As for pitching I tend to nibble unless I need a punchout and know the guy will chase.

Depending on how the spring goes I would think that Bush and Looper have just as good a chance at starting opening day as Suppan. How do these guys traditionally pitch in the spring?

Reading around the net I see that most people thought it was a pretty terrible game as well. I guess I only played it a few times and always against my brother. It was good enough for that. This game sounds great, though.

Just played the demo. Seems like a great game. I played MLB 2K8 last year and thought that was done pretty well, but I like what I'm hearing about contracts and other things about The Show this year. I'll likely be buying it when it comes out. Might go pre-order right now actually.

Can anyone really have an opinion on him before this years draft? Does he have experience with another organization? I won't complain at all if he drafts just as Jack Z did, but a bit more emphasis on D wouldn't hurt. -
One pitcher in the top 10 isn't ideal, especially considering he seems to be a "boom or bust" type player. There is quite a few "P" filling out the rest of the top 30 though. Should mean good balance going forward.

I was born in December. I think being in school for the last 20 years or so has developed a love for summer within me. I couldn't state an absolute favorite with any certainty, though. I'm a huge Christmas guy and I love the early snowfalls, so winter is appealing. I love playing ball and being out in the sun all summer. Spring just brings a new energy (and mud and muck). Fall is probably my least favorite, I would say, as it gets colder and grey out. Football and playoff baseball (hopefully) make that time of year more than bearable, though. I don't think I could be included in this study.

Neither guy looks like a Fielder or Braun type impact player right now. In this writing I read "impact prospect" as a likely elite major league player. Both guys have serious questions yet.

Buying out a year of free agency would give us Braun/Fielder for the next 4 years. It would definitely be sweet. Not happening, though.
