  1. Having a caddy is really about them finding your ball and giving you yardages. They also carry your clubs. They will help with how putts will break as well, if you ask. I doubt very much they will be handing you clubs because the caddy is not going to know how far you hit your 7 iron, 5 iron, etc. Enjoy the experience and tip well.
  2. Man, when Gallardo blew his knee out, Steiner had ROMLB SS is blue ink for $19.99. I bought one for me and one for a buddy. I am almost certain it was posted on here.
  3. He is a tool anyways.
  4. One thing that I like about Coffey is he looks like a dude from Milwaukee. Fat, looks like he could murder a frozen pizza and a 12 pack. I love it personally.
  5. Dude, relax. Almonte could be hitting .400 for all we know in AAA. When he becomes the next Nelson Cruz, you can call them stupid.
  6. Well so far... Capuano 8.76 ERA and a 1.78 WHIP, 12.1 IP Narveson 1.45 ERA and a 1.18 WHIP, 18.2 IP I am loving it.
  7. People need to realize that Hardy is no longer the 07, 08 model. The guy sucks now and cannot stay on the field. The Brewers gave up on him and so did the Twins.
  8. Hey buddy, I went a year ago. I spent a week there. It was a great time. Kiss the Blarney stone, tour every castle you can. Check out the Cliffs of Moher and if you can, drive across the country. Ireland is like the size of Wisconsin. We typically stayed at either a B&B, a hotel and a night at the Ashford Castle. It was great time man. Go to Queenstown as well, and check out the spot where the Titanic last stopped. I probably had the least amount of fun in Dublin, but I am kind of a history buff. Ireland is expensive, so be prepared. The reason you see sheep with different colors spray painted on them is so the farmers can tell the difference between their sheep or their neighbors in case they get loose. If you love golf, you will have a great time. There is a course around every corner. PM me if you need any specifics on it.
  9. Not sure if it has been said before either, but Morgan always seemed to be a Brewer killer too. I love this trade.
  10. I could not have said this better myself. Spot on.
  11. The only way for you to actually know this would have been to talk to either Doug Melvin or Chris Capuano directly. I dont rely on "blogs" for facts.
  12. You can blame Melvin all you want for the depth problem but Capuano did not want to resign here because he wanted a shot to start somewhere. He had a much better chance somewhere else. You were the same one blaming Melvin and blasting him on here for not bringing back Sheets until his arm fell off again.
  13. Lawrie looks like a criminal in that photo.
  14. Man oh man. People on here constantly under estimate Casey. I enjoy him proving all of you wrong all the time.
  15. Keep us posted my friend.
  16. Sadly, Nelson isn't even close to Freeman yet. Freeman caught a number of Favre's touchdowns and I know the duo is ranked up quite high on the receiver/quarterback list for duo touchdowns. Freeman caught "the catch" on Monday Night Football. Freeman was also the number one receiver through most of the glory years in the mid to late ninety's. Nelson was the number 3 receiver this year and had a nice game in the super bowl but also had 3 or 4 dropped passes. If anyone is comparable to Freeman, it would be Greg Jennings. $69 for Nelson is stupid. How much is a Jerry Rice sig right now? $89? $99?
  17. Yes. The cost of the sig plus the cost of the item you purchase to have signed.
  18. Private signings are horribly lame. Part of the fun of an autograph is getting it in person. That way, you KNOW it is real. As far as the pricing of the players...they are striking while the iron is hot man. I wont be paying any of them those prices. That is insane. The horrible thing about autographs is, its all about what is hot and what is popular. I usually wait until the offseason of that particular sport before I buy. For instance, I buy most Brewer auto's over the winter if I can find what I am looking for. There is a lot less competition and a lot of other people are not thinking of them. For instance, most of the packer players above auto's will be way cheaper in June than right now.
  19. Dont let others bring you down Vannzee52. We are fans of the games as well and I enjoyed reading about your "haul". Most Brewer fans are classy, and appreciate your thread.
  20. http://www.refresheverything.com/treytonkilar Treyton was a 6 year old Prince Fielder fan who was killed by a drunk driver and then buried in his Fielder jersey. http://www.jsonline.com/blogs/sports/113877669.html Lets Rally the Brewer Fan Nation and get this done for him and his family!
  21. Funny, he was a genius and way smarter than Melvin last offseason around here.
  22. I am hoping a moderator can sticky this so we can also keep a thread at the top for upcoming autograph signings for mainly brewers but any sport would be cool since most of us collect all sports! I'll start it off. John Kuhn will be at Jeff's Sports - Menomonee Falls location for an autograph session. John will be signing on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 from 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM. Waukesha Sports Cards will be doing a private signing with Robin Yount on the 30th of January.
  23. Ok. Then dont.
  24. Bear in mind it is still December. I agree our bench is not going to set the world on fire by any means but I have faith in Doug that he will make something happen. If our bench is holding us back from something great during the season, him and Mark A. will bring someone in to bolster it. This should be one of the most fun years in a long time to be a Brewers fan. Hell, I was born in 1982. 2008 was my "golden year" for Brewers baseball. The Brewers are going for it this year. 2011 is the year. They are not going to bring in Marcum and Greinke along with Saito and keep Prince only to have something like the bench bring them down. The only thing that will keep us down are injuries. My guess is that Greinke, Marcum and Gallardo all have career years and feed off one another. Braun, Prince, Mcgehee and Weeks will do the same. I love it. Bring it!
