  1. I think Hart's odds of reaching base after falling down 0-2 to Marmol were about 1 in 20.
  2. Was that ball hit solidly by weeks? Seems like his luck so far this season isn't any better than last year.
  3. Don't mind the bunt with Kendall there, especially since he's such a double play candidate. Interesting that Lou would rather face McGehee with Cotts than Counsell with Heilmann.
  4. Was that play up the middle or to his left? He's always been good up the middle in my opinion.
  5. I agree. In my opinion it hurts more to lose Villanueva from the multi middle innings role than Hoffman from the closer role.
  6. Hammer don't you think they'd have pinch hit for Harden? This is all on McClung. It shouldn't be that difficult not to allow a home run to Koyie Freaking Hill.
  7. This is where I really hate that Villanueva has to close. I'm not confident in the other guys to get this lead to the ninth.
  8. Looper is a decent hitter. I don't mind them walking Kendall at all.
  9. Now the radio broadcast is even questioning the strike zone...
  10. Has Hart been laying off sliders away any more than he was at the end of last year?
  11. Provus: "The first half Fukudome played like an all-star; the second half was another story." He had a .791 OPS in the first half. Not bad, but nowhere near all-star caliber.
  12. Good to know, thanks. If I could be watching the game I'd know that.
  13. Looper seems to be throwing a bit too many balls, but I'll take two scoreless innings. I'm really bummed to have to be listening to this instead of watching. MLBTV has STILL not sorted out my blackout issue. I've now been assured the problem will be solved by next week.
  14. I think you could say the same thing about the Orioles' "pursuit" of him.
  15. Another "Rickie Weeks" day for Weeks. More crappy luck.
  16. Good to see Parra is just as frustrating in 2009 as 2008.
  17. Interesting to see the lineup juggled for the third game of the season. A far cry from Yost who refused to juggle lineups until players asked him to.
  18. So because people sometimes take a little less to stay in an area, it means we should hold it against those who don't?
