  1. We certainly tried but luckily failed to hit into the double play.
  2. Just have to hope he continues to see time in the outfield and he remains a terrible defender.
  3. Yes it is my opinion that Canha is a mediocre player. You seem to think every player in this lineup is the second coming of Robin Yount and that is your right even if I think its ridiculous.
  4. He's going to be a great hitter who's value will hopefully be greatly diminished by playing in the field.
  5. Different opinions are not allowed here according to a few and especially one guy.
  6. He's been good as a Brewer but his total season has been nothing special.
  7. He's fine and perfectly mediocre but playoff caliber lineups aren't clamoring for Canha.
  8. Thats what you get a lot of nights with a lineup full of bad hitters.
  9. If you were a fan of another team and you look at the Brewers position players who would you want besides Contreras and Frelick.
  10. Great pitching has overcome a AAA level lineup but I question how much longer it can continue.
  11. The organization needs to completely revamp how they evaluate hitters because they are terrible at it. The pitching lab has done wonders now it’s time to focus some on offense.
  12. If our pitching was average and not great we would be a 90 loss team.
  13. Stop wasting this incredible pitching and score some damn runs.
  14. Didn’t know Hiura was hurt but he was never getting a chance regardless. Woodruff would be a better DH than Rowdy.
  15. Championship pitching staff being held back by a AAA lineup. I’ve said it before but unless Hiura is just a terrible person he should be on this team.
  16. Nothing hyperbolic about saying this offense sucks. The team has a great pitching staff and a lineup that will probably be the worst of any playoff team.
  17. Its hard to score when you have no stars in the entire lineup and when it usually takes 3 hits since we have so little power.
  18. No reason to go crazy over a loss but the fact is this lineup sucks and its going to be very difficult winning playoff series without anyone even close to being a star.
  19. Anyone that thinks that Stearns was doing anything other than waiting for the first chance to jump ship to the Mets is fooling themselves. The only reason why Stearns wasn't employed by the Mets the last several years was Attanasio holding him to his contract.
  20. This is what concerns me. The big market teams can pay big money to steal the top scouts and executives of teams like the Brewrs and Rays. Its bad enough that we get outspent by huge margins on the major league payroll but it could easily get to the point where the big teams have far better and deeper front offices than teams like ours and competing will get to be nearly impossible.
  21. The big question is how many current Brewers executives he takes with him. I personally hope he fails miserably as I despise Cohen but expect Stearns with an actual payroll to do about as well as Friedman has done with LA.
  22. What a shock and not something I said was happening several years ago. I was wrong though about one thing; I predicted 20 million a year and reports have it at a measly 15.
