    This will all get resolved at some point and the Brewers will stay in Milwaukee but the silence from Attanasio all season does cause a bit of a pause. The owner used to attend more games and make appearances on the broadcasts but that has all but disappeared completely. I do wonder if he is looking to cash out which would be fine by me.

    You've given this opinion several times and its 100% wrong. Not only did Stearns grow up a Mets fan with Kevin Elster lol being his favorite player but in case you didn't know Cohen is twice as wealthy as any other owner and money will be no object. Stearns is 100% going to the Mets and he has already agreed to take the job.

    Its all about what Arnold spoke about around the deadline and thats run prevention. Frelick is good in CF but Wiemer is probably better and they will continue to start Wiemer nearly every day even if he continues to be a big minus with the bat.

    As I mentioned in the game thread it really says something that we trade for a guy with an average around .220 in Santana and he immediately hits third in the lineup.

    I just don't see the point of adding yet another guy that can't hit. Unless Hiura is just a terrible person and we have seen nothing to suggest this him being passed over for yet another bad hitter is disgusting.

    The Canha deal is a D at best and probably an F considering he can't hit.

    Arnold can go wherever he wants since his contract runs out after the season and its fair to ask why he hasn't been extended yet.

    Don't be so sure about the front office infrastructure since we have no idea who will be back next season as Stearns will surely be plucking quite a few of our executives.

    The crazy thing is we had all this great pitching yet continuously did little to nothing to improve the offense. In other words we wasted the best pitching in the history of the franchise by putting together the worst offense among the contending teams.

    Why would Arizona be looking to sell when they are a real playoff contender and no this team should not make another bad trade for a reliever regardless.

    These articles the last few days are outrageously bad suggesting we trade some of our top prospects for rentals when this team has a negative run differential. I would like to see an article suggesting we cash in on Burnes and trade him for a haul. No I don't see this team trading Burnes but its the right thing to do and a heck of a lot smarter than trading legitimate prospects for rentals.

    Trading Hader wasn't the problem the issue was with what we got back and luckily Arnold cleaned up Stearns mess by turning Ruiz into Contreras. We definitely shouldn't sell Burnes for a discount but we should be willing to listen and see if any team blows us away with a great package for a guy that is gone for sure after next season.

    I think closing the door on a Burnes trade is stupid. No we shouldn't just give him away but if the Dodgers or any other team makes a great offer for a pitcher that is 100% gone after the 24 season we should accept the offer and help set this franchise up for the future. This team should never let a great player walk for just the draft pick compensation alone so trading Burnes at this deadline should be very much a real consideration as his value drops the closer he is to free agency.

    Any chance that the Brewers took Wilken instead of Miller because he agreed pre draft to a lower bonus so they can get a more unsignable guy with one of their next few picks.

    I'm sold as that is exactly the type I love seeing this team draft.

    Aidan Miller if he lasts would work but don't see the Brewers picking two straight third basemen so give me the best starting pitching prospect.
