  1. I think closing the door on a Burnes trade is stupid. No we shouldn't just give him away but if the Dodgers or any other team makes a great offer for a pitcher that is 100% gone after the 24 season we should accept the offer and help set this franchise up for the future. This team should never let a great player walk for just the draft pick compensation alone so trading Burnes at this deadline should be very much a real consideration as his value drops the closer he is to free agency.
  2. Any chance that the Brewers took Wilken instead of Miller because he agreed pre draft to a lower bonus so they can get a more unsignable guy with one of their next few picks.
  3. I'm sold as that is exactly the type I love seeing this team draft.
  4. Aidan Miller if he lasts would work but don't see the Brewers picking two straight third basemen so give me the best starting pitching prospect.
  5. Avoiding the up the middle athlete that can't hit is a win. Hopefully Wilken can hit enough to make the power useful and sticking at third base would also be a victory.
  6. Preferred Miller or a pitcher but avoiding Bradfield is a win. Still not thrilled that he may not be able to stick at third and seems like all power with a weak overall hitting tool.
  7. Isn't Mookie Betts 5-9. Just focus on guys that can hit and avoid the middle of the field athletes that can't hit.
  8. Bradfield would look great in a cubs uniform hopefully they pick him.
  9. I'm watching this draft hoping to hear his name before we pick.
  10. This is pretty much the worst case scenario and exactly the type of player we need to avoid taking early.
  11. I don't think that Arnold should completely shut the door on trading Burnes or Adames. If a team is willing to meet a high price for either of the two we should be willing to make that deal.
  12. I also will never argue against drafting pitching especially if the guy projects to be a starter and not a reliever and has plus stuff.
  13. I watch very little college baseball and obviously havent seen the high school players in action so my hope is that this team focuses on high upside pitching and projectable bats instead of focusing on up the middle athletes that can't hit. Its a real shame that this team hasn't produced a big time hitter since Ryan Braun and its time that we focus on better hitters instead of positional flexibility.
  14. Why does every position player have to have plus defensive value. Is it really a bad thing to draft a bat first player once in awhile. Its great when a guy can play a bunch of different positions but when the bat isn't there the overall value isn't so great,
  15. Exactly the type of player the Brewers need to add to their system but this front office only seems to like up the middle athletes and guys that can play multiple positions even if that player can't hit.
