We have no depth with the pitching and its catching up with us. The offense just flat out sucks even when we are at or near full strength as we are now.

I remember being criticized for saying that June would tell us a lot about this team. Didn't think we would struggle with the few bad teams on the schedule but here we are.

The misery never ends with this team.

Yelich hasn't been good in years and while Adames and Urias are decent players they shouldn't be the best hitters on a contending team.

The fact that Yelich getting a few singles is a source of excitement tells you really how far he's fallen. Its about the best we can expect at this point but this team really needs Yelich to be a star and not a slap hitter with virtually no power.

Most of those players you mentioned are not all that good and even the good hitters like Adames and Urias are nothing special.

Between the Woodruff and Freddy injuries we might just have to face that this is not our year and plan accordingly. The pitching is clearly the only strength of this team and with that now in doubt we are just not good enough. -
This team just isn't good enough to win a championship so the time has come to move Hader. Every contender will be interested and a bidding war will ensue for the best reliever in baseball. Not sure I trust Stearns who has one foot out the door to do whats best for the franchise but I guess as long as we eliminate the mets from the bidding we should be able to get a haul from one of the contending teams.

Stearns might want to do something besides thinking of his next job in New York.

Meaningless at bat but I hope nothing is wrong with Adames.
