  1. What does that have to do with whether or not Anderson should face a lineup a third time through? What non-anecdotal evidence do you have that Claudio wasn't the better choice there? Anderson may well have been the better choice. I have no idea, but neither do you so perhaps your comment was the big, fat stupid mistake? You were right when you said Anderson May well have been the better choice. The possible mountain of evidence telling CC to Take Anderson out after 66 pitches and four innings, should be set afire, when the pitcher is pitching over the last 3 innings as well as he has pitched all year. This is not last year’s bullpen. Jeffress Guerra haven’t been pitching well lately, and there’s no hader, and we have 4-5 innings to cover. MISTAKE!!!! Unless Anderson is hurt obviously. In other words, you have no idea what the reason is or weather or not it was the right decision. Got it.

  3. Maybe Anderson is hurt. Maybe he's just tightening up. Maybe he's got a blister. Maybe he just wanted the PH'er last inning to try to generate some offense, and he knows the entire bullpen is available today going into the break. Lots of reasons that he could have pulled him without it being a "fireable offense".... Or maybe, his no 3rd time thru the order no matter that the pitcher is mowing em down like dominoes mantra is a big fat stupid mistake from a manager that has been making a lot of them lately, admitted or otherwise? Or maybe he has a mountain of data that suggests Anderson is an even bigger gas can after two times through the order no matter how he pitches the two innings previous?
  4. Yep. I had the same exact feelings. They seemed relentless before. But when you look at it now the way they were scoring consistently was unsustainable. It’s really bad now. Like really bad Complacency has set in. Time to sell and fix the mistakes for next year.
  5. That might have more to do with who they are facing.
  6. I was at the game tonight. Most of the Keys hitters were over-matched and Ashby didn't even look like he really had is best stuff (evidenced by 4BB vs. 3K). The Reyes double was really the only truly hard hit ball. I was surprised by Topa. I guess I hadn't really seen him pitch or wasn't paying attention if I had. He was sitting upper 90's and hit 99 several times. Didn't realize he threw that hard. I know Feliciano didn't have a great game but when that dude squares it up the ball has a different sound. High hopes for that kid.
  7. Umm... four runs in 2/3 of an inning is really bad. Umm... so is making comments with zero context.
  8. The problem is that I don't think this package is even remotely reasonable.
  9. If you sign the entire country, you won’t miss out on any top prospects from there! Sound strategy if you ask me.
  10. So, pretty much, we singed Venezuela.
  11. Not to mention swapping out proven players for a couple of guys that have had all of one good season each, the former of which has about 50 at bats at AAA. What a horrible notion.
  12. Find a replacement for Aguilar. I'm not sure there are many spots to upgrade other than that.
  13. I can tell you were hurt by this move. Hernan grew on me as well. He still showed up at his autograph signing in Saukville a day after being let go. He’s just a good guy. It doesn’t help knowing they dropped him for Saladino who stinks as well. If it was Dubon, I think I would’ve understood it. I wanted to let this move percolate to see if it made more sense to me. It doesn't. This feels like making a move for the sake of making a move. Saladino isn't better than Perez but he is different than Perez. I think Perez just ended up being the sacrificial lamb for no other reason than they needed a sacrificial lamb. This doesn't change the team trajectory at all and this isn't coming from someone who thought Perez was an integral part of the team.
  14. He knows how to airmail a throw, I'll give him that.
  15. Yes. You’re saying their memory was erased after last season basically. Huh?
