  1. The Red Sox lost a series to the White Sox this year. Good teams lose games in baseball. It happens all the time. It sucks, but it does, and will happen. Reds have swept the Dodgers and Cubs. As noted, it happens.
  2. The back end of their bullpen isn't all that bad and that's what we'll get here.
  3. Can't say it doesn't make sense.
  4. Cleveland has put up 17 runs in four innings vs the Reds. It could be worse I guess.
  5. I think Brown is getting overrated just a bit on here. I think all of our young pitching prospects are being overrated a lot on here. If they can be used to add established players the trades should be made. Don't agree with that either.
  6. Except he threw more pitches than any other start (IIRC)... He's been over 90 in just about every start and 98 or better four times. Sometimes he gets to six or seven innings, sometimes not. Either way, he has some work to do with consistency.
  7. It's the dilemma of patience with young arms versus the position that we're in where we want to make the playoffs and win now. Woodruff has probably the same or better upside as Peralta, but we're not willing to be patient enough to give him the whole year in the MLB rotation and leave him alone. If it was 2016, we probably would. That and the line for the pitchers is razor thin because of the offense. That plus a pennant chase and you have a lot of pressure on a pitcher that probably should still be in AAA.
  8. I think Brown is getting overrated just a bit on here. I think soon enough you'll come to the realization that you were late seeing it with him. No, I think I have a good read on him.
  9. Or just let him do it Craig, whatever. If he is an untouchable prospect the minimum expectation is that he should be able to throw strikes to the opposing pitcher.
  10. No it didn't. He wasn't great from the start, it just took them a few innings to cash in.
  11. I think Brown is getting overrated just a bit on here.
  12. Orioles want it done before the break according to this guy:
