  1. Seems UWEC is conspicuously absent, given your proximity to SP. It's a fine school, set up simply perfectly...though I suppose that's a minor consideration.
  2. He's hit several fly balls this year to the track...last year, those were HR's. I'd say he might well be a millimeter off on a few balls.
  3. I would assume Dillon would be the one going down if that were to be the case...as good as the SP has been, I would doubt it, but Joe's seat may be a bit warm.
  4. Baring injury, Stetter or DiFelice would seem to be on the hot seats.
  5. He's an abover average 2B who still is a couple years away from his mythical peak. I wish we had problems like this all over the diamond.
  6. If they let him go on regular rest in his next start, he'll pitch the Sunday before the AS game, and get the game off. Let's hope. absolutely nothing good can come out of him pitching in that game, and many, many bad things can.
  7. I find it ironic that Olney picks the team with the best record in the past month as his "surprise team". Weak. Where was he a month ago? He's just picking who has done the best that few have noticed.
  8. I've found it odd that two of the most talked about issues in the past, being condescending and posting one or two word replies, are now almost solely done by 2-3 posters...and all are mods themselves. Do as I say...
  9. He can pick the batting order out of a hat for all I care. Keep the pitch counts low, all i care about.
  10. At very best, Mark G is a very minor upgrade from Weeks, and giving up a player in addition? I'll pass, barring injury to Rickie. As X points out, it could easily be a decline.
  11. Any one can work at Culvers. Most people cannot play MLB. Supply/demand.
  12. I just thought it was to give Ryan an inning off and Joe an AB.
  13. Jason must wake up everyday and wonder if this is the day he gets released.
  14. He's been mediocre, but he's perfectly capbale to be a 5th starter for half the teams in MLB.
  15. Not happy with Rickie's .325 OBP, so you trade something for a guy with a .332 OBP? He's not a bad rental, but if they would make a deal, I would hope they'd get a guy that can do more than play 2B.
  16. Don't you usually go the other way with fastballs? I think he just got his cliches mixed up. It happens when you have no original thoughts.
  17. Unrealistic, to say the least. However, I would say a couple teams in Tokyo and another population center in that part of the word is very realistic, though most of us will probably never see it.
  18. Cito Gaston probably knows less about baseball than any person associated with the game. Maybe that's what they're looking for, a "simple" fella, but it does not say a lot about the franchise. For the most part, I think JP has done fine, except when his decisions are based on money (Johnson and Thomas), but he appears a bit stuck in neutral at this point.
  19. I can't believe they have a guy at every game for that.
  20. MoA is still very nice, especially if you just want to see it. About a dozen good places to eat there, including a State Fair stand that is delicious. If your wife likes antiques and such, downtown Stillwater has a small town feel. And enjoy a White Castle for me. Mmm.
  21. I don't think you lose a pick unless they are Type A's.
  22. I don't think you lose a pick unless they are Type A's.
  23. I don't think you lose a pick unless they are Type A's.
  24. She weighs like 95 pounds. Too thin for my tastes.
  25. Bedard apparently pulls himself consistently after 100 pitches. I can't say I've ever seen that written before, but that makes him a 5-6 inning guy.
