  1. This is so, so true. These rankings pages have some major bias toward certain teams who are terrific at hyping their prospects.
  2. Just like your thoughts on who we could get for our prospects, you’ve swung and missed, again. Man, you have had a terrible week around here. Do you have intimate knowledge of WHO they can or can't get for their prospects?? Yeah that's what i thought. You don't. Now I really want to see them make a big move so I can watch you squirm and go off and pout about how they didn't sell Grandal and Moose. I've had a fine week here, thanks. Your lust over the prospect of the Brewers acquiring a big "name" starter has gotten weird. I feel like you care more about a name and reputation than actual results.
  3. 25 pages on the Bucks offseason thread and we are on 7 here. My how things have changed in a just a couple of years. Early camp reports seem to indicate D is ahead of the offense, not very surprising. Glad to see both King and Gary practicing out of the chute, King in particular really needs to stay healthy. Really pretty good health across the board. Signed a running back yesterday Corey Grant who backed up in JAx for a few years, fast guy who probably has a good chance to stick. The Bucks thread is basically three guys arguing with each other.
  4. I don't disagree. I love Houser in the pen this season, although I think he'll be a starter eventually. But their hands are pretty well tied unless they find another couple starters somewhere.
  5. Bullpenning? (half blue) Honestly, I have no idea. Houser for sure will go back into the rotation. Wilkerson I guess? Burch Smith after his requisite 10 days are up? I mean, they pretty much have to go out and get someone(s) now, right?
  6. Big win tonight. Bats came alive just enough. Gio was terrific as well, as was the bullpen. Hopefully Gio's injury is minor, because they are getting close to having to give Yo Gallardo a call.
  7. Derek Holland is a meh pitcher. The Cubs needed a lefty, though, so he fills that role until they find someone better. This is pretty much a non-starter I think.
  8. I'm literally going to be worried about you and your mental health if they end up buying..especially buying big. Oh for heaven's sake, give it a rest. People are allowed to have a different philosophy on what the team should do.
  9. Yep ... with the off days, it made sense to replace Chacin with a bat until a starter is needed.
  10. Seriously, have seen twitter chatter that people are trying to get clarification of that...this is the Mets we are talking about you know?? It obviously meant Top 30 MLB prospect. Would Peralta have that kind of value? Perhaps, but it would depend on the team.
  11. The implosion here would be massive.
  12. How are the Brewers going to find a Top 30 prospect? Conjure one out of thin air? Grisham and Turang are their best, and they are borderline Top 100 guys. They sure ain't trading Hiura for Syndergaard.
  13. Can you? With 4 guys playing 2 positions, just not enough ABs to go around. Sure, they can have Moose play some 2B again- if you want to sit Hiura. Thames could play some OF, also not ideal. Well, Shaw has two innings of LF work on his resume
  14. Cool! He hit well in San Antonio, and deserves another shot. Roster construction is a little wonky, but you can always find room for another dangerous hitter.
