  1. The Pro Football Focus Draft Show (available on YouTube) is ok. They do tend to dwell on their pre-draft grades too much, though, and can get annoying when they don't like where a guy goes.
  2. I wouldn't be opposed to trying that. A different perspective may just get him going. Who knows? It couldn't hurt.
  3. NFL Network's coverage is so, so much better than ESPN's. I know that's probably not what you are looking for, though.
  4. Runs! Nice that Yelich started this too. Hopefully it leads to a run of usefulness.
  5. He's hitting like crap, but he's always been a gamer with a good baseball mind. He knew we needed baserunners, and he took the opportunity. I dig it.
  6. Based on his slow start and .720 OPS this year? Or the .814 he put up as a Brewer last year? He don't think he'll ever be a star, but he's far from the biggest problem in the lineup as it stands.
  7. Both those guys are absolutely legit Top 10 talents if healthy, though. Terrific value if available. I'd be totally fine with Ojabo at #28. He might be the best pass rush talent in the draft. I think someone will grab Williams before #22 though.
  8. Taylor's shot is long gone with a normal ball. This humidor crap can get retired any time.
  9. How crazy would Williams slipping to #22, then them picking David Ojabo at #28 be? Crazy good value there, but the "we need an immediate impact" contingent would freak out.
  10. I'm still having nightmares from the last time Hader pitched in the 8th last October.
  11. I'm guessing his 40% K rate (albeit in a small sample) has a lot to do with it.
  12. His 14+ ERA makes it seem like they might be able to square up on him at some point ...
  13. Apparently the Brewers are using the advanced scouting report on Quintana they had on file from 2018.
  14. Correct. Issue is only on desktop. I don't have any problems on mobile.
  15. If I had to guess, I think Treylon Burks is going to be the pick if the Packers stay at #22. He's a big (6'2, 225 lbs), strong receiver who fits the mold of what they typically look for. I personally wouldn't move up for any of the receivers arbitrarily ranked ahead of him. That said, it wouldn't surprise me to see them bypass WR completely tonight if they have a guy or two in mind in the 2nd, or a trade up their sleeve. Who knows where they are looking at #28? Could be O-line, safety, edge, ILB, D-line? Maybe even another WR?
  16. Agreed. Other than too many walks, Ashby has been extremely effective in his swing-man role, and the Brewers rotation will eventually get his by the injury bug, which will give Ashby a more permanent spot there. Or perhaps they'll decide to deal from that major position of strength to add a bat to the lineup? In any case, Ashby is helping this team win, so I don't see any reason to send him down.
  17. It's the top banner ad. It loads late every time for me, giving me bounce every time I go to a new page. The other ads aren't really a big deal for me, but that one is excruciating.
  18. He IS enamored with WR size ... on the perimeter. Rodgers was drafted specifically to be used in the slot. Gute and Lafleur have said as much ... they like big, strong guys on the outside that can win on contested balls, while they like smaller, shiftier, more explosive players playing on the inside. And while many Packer fans have already given up on Amari after he didn't show a ton last season, I would guarantee that the Packers themselves are not giving up on a 22-year-old who was an electric player from a blue chip program. I think Aaron Rodgers' insistence that Randall Cobb be brought back, along with Aaron's general mistrust of rookie WRs, stunted Amari's growth to a degree. I think he'll be much more productive this year.
  19. 100% None of us really knows anything about these guys really other than the highlight tapes over the last month and what the "experts" say about them. Sure, maybe we all saw a few games last fall, but I would doubt that many typical fans are watching a college game with an eye toward how those players would perform in the NFL. All I really base my assumptions off of is the measurables the Packers typically target at certain positions, and which draft-eligible prospects fit those.
  20. Tyler White at 3B should be a fun little adventure ...
  21. A lesson in how assembling a super team can backfire. Have to admit ... seeing the Nets and Lakers stumble this year was pretty awesome. I still don't understand why they traded Harden for essentially nothing. Actually they traded him for a negative, as no one can tell me that the Ben Simmons drama didn't negatively affect that team.
  22. Right ... what I wouldn't give to sneak a peak at GB's draft board to see how they truly rank these guys. If they have Olave ranked highly, they should most certainly take him. I mean, they are smarter than me when it comes to this stuff. But if it gets to #22, and there are two WRs on the board who they rank similarly, my guess is they'll take the guy who is the better downfield blocker. It truly is a really important part of Lafleur's offensive philosophy.
  23. There's a reason why the Brewers were able to acquire Narvaez for basically a nothingburger prospect and a pick. He has limitations, and was considered poor defensively. But most catchers have limitations. In fact, considering Narvaez's defensive improvement, I really don't think there are more than 4-5 catchers in all of MLB I'd take over him. That doesn't mean he's really a stud. What it does mean is that there just aren't that many stud catchers out there right now. Narvaez is a solid starting catcher on a playoff-caliber team. He isn't going to put up superstar numbers, but he isn't going to hurt you with the bat or in the field either. And that has a lot of value.
  24. I certainly see the huge need at WR, but the prospect of seeing the dumber/immediately reactive portion of this team's fan base melt down should they not take one in the 1st round almost has be giddy with excitement.
