  1. Thanks for putting this together.
  2. Plus they’re adding Mitchell, maybe Quero and probably Henderson into the mix. Pretty good additions potentially. Many of the younger players hopefully, have not reached their ceilings!!
  3. I think when you have a window to a WS you should go for it and stretch the payroll, just like if you’re rebuilding then maybe you go lower. Some teams lose 90 games a year, why carry a higher payroll to lose 80-85
  4. Red Sox have lost their minds. Makes me think our controllable pitching is more valuable than some opine here :)
  5. And Peralta isn’t close?? Don’t be absurd.
  6. If Skubal is available and we offered Peralta how much would we have to add?
  7. At some point his performance on the field needs to start mattering. Not giving up a solid rotation arm for a maybe. No thank you
  8. AZ would have to add. SP values are sky high,
  9. Trading Yelich just doesn’t seem realistic, unless he would approach the Brewers.
  10. If the owner won’t boost the payroll coming off a 97 win season what are we even doing. I’m fine with short term commits, we just aren’t going to play in the top FA pool. I would rather sign our own anyways. FO needs to stay hot in the drafting department, this model only works with a strong system IMHO, especially SP.
  11. $10 mill was for last year, think of it the Brewers deferred the money. This isn’t $12 mill net, it’s an additional $22 mill
  12. I get it but any trade would have to not be involving too much salary to take on. If Woody accepts it would really suck if we traded Freddy, With an offensive “tweak” this team can win 100.+ games this year.
  13. Adding $22 mill to this years payroll probably kills any flexibility to add offense, doesn’t it?
  14. Buxton’s injury history scares the Bjesus out of me. If Ryan is included I could be convinced. Would prefer not to put Pena in this deal. Pratt Gasser Dinges and Dorchies or if we have a competitive pick we could include then yes.
  15. The Brewer package mentioned above the Twins would have to include Ryan. Would Buxton even waive his no trade for Milwaukee???
  16. Don’t forget about Mitchell, this is make or break for him.
  17. Aren’t we well stocked in the OF?
  18. I will be VERY surprised if Woody gets a 3 year guarantee, maybe that 3rd year is a club option.
  19. I wouldn’t mind Seager but the Rangers would have to pickup significant $$$$ for us to even consider it. Made isn’t far off, just throwing that out there :)
  20. Over and under is 6.5 runs I believe for game 3. Wind definitely blowing in if that’s the case. Go Brewers!!!
  21. Cubs kill sinkers and cutters. Which one of our pitchers use different pitchers. 3-4 innings from Ashby would be a dream
