With Nelson (showing up big) Jungmann (pleasant surprise but small sample) Fiers (solid) Peralta (has top of the rotation stuff) Garza (question mark but his stuff plays) and a good bullpen do the Brewers really need to unload everybody? That rotation looks pretty good to me and they have an excellent bullpen. If they can acquire a good 3B and maybe address LF (not sold on Davis) I think you go to war next year with the nucleus of our team. See if someone will bite on Segura and get Arcia in at SS. They have a lot of money coming off the books in Lohse, Ramirez & Broxton and would be in a position to spend via FA or take on salary via a trade Ive changed my thought in regard to blowing things up. I would check on LuCroy and see what his price tag is now. GO BREW
Why hasn't this happened? Or at least stop pitching him at home, what a complete hot mess and management should be embarrassed by keeping him in the rotation. Good lord!!
IMO Segura doesn't have great value, his OBP is rotten and teams value the position but they more often that not want those guys to work counts, I think we will be dissappointed what we get for Segura unless he's packaged with Gomez or LuCroy.
we should be able to get almost whatever we want for either LuCroy or Gomez, taking into account if there's a need. I would approach the Mets or the Cubs with Gomez Snydergaard FOR Gomez looks good to me
I mean with the penalty aren't you looking at $80-$100 million? I'm thinking that's a no. Too bad they missed on Abreu, I wonder what last year would have been with Abreu smashing 40 Hr's for us. Oh well.
Guys, I have the 1st 3 picks in my fantasy draft (keeper league). How good are these Cubans!! Im trying to find out some in depth scouting reports and couldn't find much, anyone care to weigh in?
The problem with dealing with Amaro is he's the dolt who signed existing players too these ridiculous contracts and he can't make any bad trades, he has to be on the hotseat in Philly.
