  1. Side effect of offense being so bad of late. Our elite relievers don’t get consistent work. And work in an 8-0 game is completely different than 1 or 2 runs leads. Hard to keep them sharp.
  2. Hard to tell if Lane is even a good 3rd base coach. Rarely does he get anyone by him.
  3. Cains got 18 million reasons not to retire. Highly doubt he hangs it up.
  4. I remember a certain Packers QB being “done” multiple times. Guys change their minds. We shall see.
  5. He added Cain 6.9 and 2.6 war in 18-19. Yelich 7.3 and 7 war 18-19. Aguilar 3.4 war in 18. Shaw 3.5 and 4.5 war in 18-19. Eric Thames 1, 0.4 and 1.4 war 17-19. Moose 2.6 war in 19. Pina 2.6, 1.1 and 0.8 war 17-18. Grandal 2.4 war in 2019. Drafted Hiura who had a 1.9 war in 84 games in 19. Omar narvaez who is off to 1.2 war already in 21. Wong who has 0.7 war in 22 games already. This idea that Stearns can’t acquire bats is greatly exaggerated. Sure, he has missed on some low cost veterans that haven’t worked out. But to say he hasn’t acquired offense is a bit mis guided. And I agree our offense has struggled some. But it’s not like the injuries our Stearns fault. That Wong goes down and Robertson and Peterson get at bats. Or the man in Hiura who always could hit no longer seems to be able to. Or Yelich/Cain go down and then McKinney has to play a full time role....or worse Peterson in outfield. Lastly, offense is down accross baseball. Pitching has become so good that it’s making offense look even worse. Especially when we have 50% backups in. Or 3rd/4th string catchers. Patience is key. Stearns has been Just fine.
  6. The majority of bullpen options should be available today. Obviously Hader is a no after going 3 straight. But otherwise we should be in good shape if we were to get a lead. JP could probably go 2 as well.
  7. Is there any way to lower/eliminate cap hit while doing a trade? Extension and trade?
  8. If he were to retire, the team gets out clean from his contract? And Rodgers has to pay back $25 mil in bonus’? I don’t know if I see that happening. He seems like a guy acting like he has all the leverage but doesn’t? Or maybe I’m not seeing it clearly. If Love showed to be terrible the past year in practice/film study, I’m not sure this all happens.
  9. Would be nice if dudes could just put the damn ball in play. Need to swing for that to happen. Shaw didn’t seem interested in swinging there.
  10. With four turns of the rotation in the books, Milwaukee starters are second in MLB with a 2.34 ERA, fourth with a 29.1% K rate. and that includes Anderson’s 1 out game yesterday. Need runs!
  11. Shaw glammed kind of wearing off...down to 220 and 670 ops. Atleast he plays a sold 3rd.
  12. True, but hardly a knock on Peralta. Woody and Burnes are just in a different league. Still would take Freddy and his upside over the majority of #3s out there.
  13. “CB Chandon Sullivan has officially signed his $2.133M restricted free agent tender.” Per Tom Silverstein Seems a bit high but decent enough depth.
  14. I’ve been impressed with Houser so far. Keep the ball in the park and he should be good. 5-6 innings of quality ball is what we need from him. Hope Yelich is back in there today.
  15. Is there any hope to be able to stream with ATT uverse again? Update on when app will be completed?
