  1. For some reason I feel disappointed with Grandals overall production. Granted I know July was rough for him. But looking at his career stats, he’s arguably having the best offensive year of his career. Doesn’t seem like it but numbers don’t lie.
  2. As much as people are hating on cain, this year hasn’t even been bad. Probably shouldn’t be a leadoff hitter. But a 1.7 war already this year isn’t something to scoff at.
  3. Misconceptions about Braun? You don’t say. Honestly Braun needs to become a first baseman next year. I’m not sold on Thames being the full time guy next year. Cain will probably be here so you have to give this Grisham guy a chance. Cain, Yelich, Grisham, gamel outfield. Make Braun play first If we had a choice of signing Grandal or moose next year who would you choose I’m almost inclined to sign moose. I really don’t want to go into next year with Shaw at third. He might bounce back or he might be just done. Then what the hell,do,we do Neither. Get garret cole.
  4. I feel like having half our positions players OPSing over 800 should lead to some runs...
  5. Can someone shed some light on this whole August waivers situation? It was brought up in the in game thread to just put our players on waiver, ie cain. If a player is put on waivers, then claimed, do we owe any more money to them? Or does the claiming team take on the whole contract? Is there any negations that can happen to send money with a claimed player?
  6. So your requested changes are sit Yelich and release Jeffress. Got it. You’re really stretching Brews words. Sitting yelich and giving him a day off aren’t the same.
  7. Top of the order: Grisham Yelich Hiura Do it Craig! But seriously, excited to kid got rewarded to be starting in the bigs today.
  8. With all of the trades that came in late I don't think this was a bad deadline at all. I do think it makes more sense to move it back a week or two though if you get too close to september callups I think teams will be less likely to trade as well. Zero trades by the Red Sox and Yankees would be my argument why it’ll change.
  9. Do they ever share how much cash?
  10. Astros had a nice deadline!
  11. I can pretty confidently say, the trade deadline date will be changed for next year.
  12. I can pretty confidently say, the trade deadline date will be changed for next year.
  13. Probably because he’s in his 4th year at the Major league level. Still looks lost at the plate. Was our top prospect at one point. And he has a career OBP below 300
  14. 5 innings of 1 run, 3 hit ball wasn’t good enough for you last night?
  15. You want to trade away the farm with zero regard for future years. Plus who knows if any team views our prospects as you do. Stearns can’t just focus on this year when there are plans in the works to have a baseball season in 2020 and beyond.
  16. Love this!! Pomeranz can help the pen this year. Black could be a nice addition for future. Better than nothing for a light hitting/no walk middle infielder. Personally think Stearns has milked a lot out of these trades.
  17. You let me know when Wilson touches 100 mph, as Black does regularly, and I'll take this seriously. Does black throw that hard? Know nothing about him.
  18. Curious who our options are at 3B if we trade Moose? imo, if we trade Moose and/or Grandal, we are throwing in the towel on this season. Even if we somehow got back a TOR starter and lockdown reliever, the offense we'd replace Moose and Grandal with would be detrimental to us winning this year. [sarcasm][/sarcasm]Lucas Erceg is batting 201, he literally isn’t hitting his weight, and opsing 700. Maybe this is the replacement they are looking at? [sarcasm] [sarcasm]
  19. Just looking at San Antonio box score. 2 things stuck out minus the obvious. 1) Freitas is batting 373 2) Nottingham is on the team. Legit forgot the man was even in the brewers organization.
  20. Is it just me or is all the reporting of Bauer to the astros a big crock? I mean, why would a team vying for a division title trade him to a team that will be in the AL playoffs. I get the concept of trading him, just odd destination.Maybe I’m off on my thinking but that just seems weird if it happens.
  21. I agree he is better than most at AAA. But using 21 months as a point seems like a stretch. That’s like me saying my daughter graduated high school 32 months ago, which is basically 3 years.
