  1. Literally judging me as a human because a I like to watch a baseball game close up without a net. Wow. If you calm down a bit and actually read my posts you will see at no point did I say “screw other fans safety” or “they shouldn’t do this”. So I don’t see where I don’t care about others or whatever ridiculous claim you are trying to make. Also I never said it was “ruining baseball” so how bout you stop trying to twist words of people to make them appear “self-absorbed and lacking empathy”. Of course you are coming after me for not being concerned for others safety (which is 100% false), but what about the people voluntarily sitting in dangerous sections under their own will power? They don’t even care about their own safety. This last paragraph is one of the better points. People don’t HAVE to sit in the lower level. Personally, I hate the netting as my 20 pack seats will now have it. I get it from the Brewers end. I never liked watching games through a fence for kids HS games, don’t like it in the pros. But ultimately people are making the choice to buy tickets and sit in those sections. Be interesting to see the influx in injuries compared to phone usage too. Lady at one game I when to got a pop up foul to her lap, but she never looked away from her phone.
  2. No thank you. After Another MVP type performance, and, a all in, do it for Yelli chance at a title, he’s traded next offseason with 2 years control, for 4-5 top 100 prospects. That, coupled with the trading of Hader this offseason for 3-4 top 100 prospects, will help us sustain our window of winning. I shudder to see the day that the Brewers never trade Yelich. I don’t see them trading him at all. Especially not with multiple years left.
  3. Agreed. Obviously a bummer to lose Yelich. But we are on the verge of gaining Moose, Hiura and Woody for the stretch run. Suter has also been a pleasant surprise too. It’s not completely bleak!
  4. Hiura and Yelich are two players who, to me, are must see players. I look forward to their at bats because they have elite skills. They also never (or I’ve yet to see them) take practice swings during at bats. Random for sure. I sure hope we don’t trade him.
  5. Random interjection. Yelich has a 6.1 war on the year. Even though he’s had a 6.4 war offensively. Interesting that he’s a gold Glover. Cain on the other hand has 2.1 war for the year. 2.0 of that is from defense, and has no gold glove.

  7. PItchers aren't allowed to wear the white hats, from what the announcers are saying. Makes sense! Appreciate the info!
  8. Could have added a no-hitter banner over the left field wall. Got a good chuckle out of this one!
  9. What about the legit pitching prospect alluded to in several previous posts that you neglect to mention? This was not a 1-for-1 deal, even though the two OF WAR # come pretty close to matching. If you are basing the return only on what the MLB team has gotten, that seems like it might be a little too narrow of a viewpoint. Would Santana have helped? Maybe. Or he might have been just as nearly useless as he was most of last season. Just because he put up a half season of good stats for Seattle doesn't mean that would have happened in Milwaukee. Not to discredit the pitcher or the trade, but the man is 23 years old. Playing A ball. He should be doing fairly well there. I hope he turns into a legit prospect. But would like to see him advance a bit first. As far as Santana goes. I’m glad I never have to see him play RF ever again.
  10. I like Cain being on this team for the next few years. This year is just a bump in the road.
  11. Which “high end” talent are you seeing? As the top 3 starters won’t be Brewers. Which difference makers do you see us having a legit shot at?

  13. Expectations lead to disappointment. That’s what we had this year. A team filled with a bunch of individual talent that never played like much of a team. Yelich, much like Aaron Rodgers, has covered up so many flaws of this team. There is still a good core. But the lack of emotion on the team is astounding.
  14. Brewers team bullpen era this year ranks 16th in baseball at 4.65.....for reference that same era would’ve ranked 27th last year. The ball is a joke. Mandred is lying. I’m a 20 something wishing baseball would be like it was in the 80s.
  15. What’s Jose Hernandez or Yuni B up to these days? Hopefully Brice Turang is the real deal and we only need a place holder the next year or two.
  16. His stats are even more remarkable seeing as he’s missed about 10% of the Brewers games.
  17. It’s baseball, so ya never know, but not confident of a win here. Irritated that our GM has mailed it in vs LHP. Well, that isn’t remotely close to an accurate statement. But you do you. I’m excited for this series 2 off days in 4 days has thrown me off a bit. Let’s take the division boys!
  18. Not that WAR is everything. But moose has 2.5 war compared to 1.6 for Grandal. Yes, they play very different positions. Take it for what it’s worth. 3 war isn’t exactly a “replaceable” player. especially when there is no one in the organization who could take over.
  19. 2022-2027 we will owe Cain/Braun roughly $3 mil a year in deferred money. This year is the last year of $3 mil per year of Aramis Rameriz deferred money. How often is money deferred? What is the benefit of it? Seems to hinder future years, even if by just a “few” million. Is there luxury tax implications?
  20. I can see it now, last year all over again. 2019 Central Division Champs! Let’s go boys!!
  21. “Lou Brown: We won a game yesterday, if we win one today that's two in a row. If we win one tomorrow that's called a winning streak. It has happened before. SO LET'S SEE SOME HUSTLE!” This would’ve fit better yesterday, but sentiment remains the same. Let’s go boys!!
