  1. Id take aguilars mean of last year for 600k every day!
  2. 2019 Brewers Predictions Win-Loss Record: 95-67 Playoffs (Yes, No): NL Central Champs Highest Playoff Level Achieved: Win WS All-Star Game Representative(s): Christian Yelich, Hader and Cain Offensive Player of the Year: Christian Yelich Starting Pitcher of the Year: Corbin Burnes Relief Pitcher of the Year: Josh Hader Most Surprising Player: Ryan Braun Most Disappointing Player: Grandal
  3. This is so fun seeing the youth! We even have Zack Brown waiting in the wings to potentially help out this year too. Can’t recall a time in our franchises history that we have this quality of talent, youth, depth...especially for pitching. Exciting times in Brewers history!
  4. This is a big signing that we will look back at the end of the year and be thankful for!
  5. Passan, Rosenthal and Heyman all reporting this deal. Not bad for a lefty Cy Young winner. Insane how many extensions took place this offseason.
  6. Rosenthal reporting 5 year 110 mil extension. Figured this would happen. Cardinals always find a way.
  7. Probably should let this all play out. Hopefully Knebel will be fine with a bit of rest. Who knows if the reports of kimbrel are accurate. We shall see. But I do love the starters choices. Nelson could take Davies spot soon.
  8. With Burnes, Peralta and Woodruff all being stretched out as starters,I believe that’s what they will be doing. Not that it can’t change. Just seems to be the best use of those guys. I’m unsure if all three crack the mlb rotation, but length is important.
  9. I’m unsure who does these but some seem a bit odd. Vlad Jr is at 68? Brewers listed: Grandal 80 Cain 56 Hader 33 Yelich 7 The brewers I don’t think were listed too off besides Cain. He continues to be undervalued year after year. But it’s ESPN. EDIT: Added "Player" to the title for clarity -- BSCR
  10. Completely agree. It is funny to me though, that Kimbrel of all people would need to “prove it”. He had some blemishes last year no doubt. But still is an all time great relief pitcher. Tough sledding for him.
  11. I remember when TJ Ford was supposed to be the answer...
  12. Based on contract years, he’s more likely to be Braun’s replacement than Cain’s.
  13. The way I see it, the Brewers' best bet is to start with Rotation: Chacin, Anderson, Burnes, Peralta, Woodruff Bullpen: Knebel, Jeffress, Hader, Claudio, Burnes, T. Williams, Guerra Nelson and Davies are among those sent to AAA - better to get them to shake of the rust down there. As they get the rust off, maybe move Peralta or Woodruff to the pen and get one or both up. Or maybe someone becomes trade-bait. Burnes is both starting and relief?
  14. Gamel should start when there are injuries to outfield. Not Perez or Thames.
  15. [dt][/dt] Yes! It felt the bullpening was needed due to being in close games very consistently. If the offense busted out for 6+ we’d tax the pen a lot less. Last year that didn’t happen as much.
  16. Wow. Watching some highlights from years past, he had some nice glovework at third. Any chance we have a trade with Shaw involved? Sign moose?
  17. yup, they should have ran it back. Tried to get some under the radar SPs who could fit well in that park and tried to win for a few years. They couldn't spend a lot due to the Stanton deal and some bad contracts but you had a great offense. Some forward thinking regarding pitching like how MKE has done it and they could have done well. It wasn’t that they couldn’t spend based on payroll. Their owner was a crook and milked every dollar out of that organization.

  19. The NL East and NL Central should be two fun, competitive divisions!
  20. Sounds like Alfaro and Sanchez are the target prospects. This probably enhances a chance for a big FA addition too.
  21. We don’t need Harper. Those contracts are ridiculously high, especially for the Crew. My moneys on Braun bouncing back and having a top 5 MVP year. Book it!
  22. Aguilar might be a perfect league min DH if it were to come this year or next. The season seemed to wear him out where DHing could save him a bit.
