    Clubhouse morale post-deadline is a big concern of mine too, which is why I was encouraged to read this comment by Willy last night, and why he (and the others you mentioned) are so important in that regard: "I don't really pay attention to that, but I'll say that I take it like a compliment," Adames said of the Brewers not bringing in any new players to the offense via trade. "I feel like they trust the guys that are out here and we do, too. We're trusting ourselves and we have a pretty good team, a pretty good lineup and we can do a lot of damage. We just have to be more focused and try to do our job and try to do our best, and we can be great."

    So great to have Freddy back, hopefully he can get through a few solid innings before handing it off to our new (and improved?) bullpen arms with a lead.

    Craig really got too cute pinch hitting for Tellez and Wong who were a combined 5/6 with 2 HR.

    B-/C+ I like the Hader deal more than most, and hope that it doesn't affect the clubhouse too much going forward. With that said, I was definitely hoping for at least one solid bat to supplement the offense. On the flip side, we didn't deal either of Frelick, Mitchell or Wiemer, so we'll more than likely be giving one of those 3 or Turang/Ruiz an opportunity in a pennant race (should the need arise), and that is really exciting to me. #trusttheprocess

    Hoping that Lamet ends up being a Pomeranz-like acquisition for the Crew. His fastball/slider combo is tailor-made for a dominating bullpen arm.

    I think this will eventually end up being a more popular trade than it is right now. Rogers and Lamet are 2 guys who will help out the bullpen immediately, and both have elite sliders, one from the left and one from the right. Throw in LHP Gasser who can potentially go right to Biloxi, and Ruiz who's power/speed potential is tantalizing, I think the Brewers did about as well as they could have to both plan for the future and potentially strengthen the big league club overall.
