    I got home from work late last night, cracked a beer, and watched every youtube video I could find of CC Sabathia 2008 Brewers highlights, CC interviews about his start in MKE back in 2014, etc. At the exact same time (around 1am), every single one of my neighbors seemed to be cutting large quantities of onions, it was the wildest thing! 2008 was magical and I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. Healthy Sheets + Gallardo down the stretch and who knows? Just finally reaching the postseason was euphoric, game 162 was still the most special ballgame I've attended.

    Escobar would be my guy too. Doubles machine, can play all over the diamond which would come in handy should Shaw's wrist injury get any worse and cause him to miss more time. Escobar sliding over to 3rd to fill in instead of Hernan is a major offensive upgrade.

    I've had the same issue over and over. A lot of times the video will freeze but I'll still be hearing the announcers and will have to refresh. Normally any streaming I do over my connection is close to perfect.

    The only other infield position I forsee Travis Shaw ever playing is 1B. He's just not agile enough for the middle infield.

    I hate it. The broadcast is obnoxious with the "sound off in the comments" questions every half inning.

    Another thing to think about with a lot of these struggling FA pitchers is that because it took so long for them to receive a fair offer that many of them weren't in spring training until the last week, if that. I'm sure that plays somewhat of a role in their 1st half struggles.

    I 100% disagree with this. There is ZERO reason the Brewers couldn't/shouldn't sign him long term...they have the payroll flexibility to do it easily. Whaaaaaat? You think the Brewers could hand out a $300+ million dollar deal easily? Mark could definitely afford it. Zero chance of it happening, but it could be done.

    Great night at the ballpark but there were multiple times where I was just astounded at the poor defense from the Cardinals. Never seen that from them before, it was as sloppy as it gets. Fine by me.

    Went to that game for that bobble head and I agree with you 100%. I'd agree, but Turnbow blew the save with a 3-run lead that night IIRC. He was never the same after that.

    Yup. Stay far away from this guy What he did was horrid. There is no way anyone should condone that. But ... he was 15. Should the kid pay the rest of his life for his idiocy as a 15-year-old? Tough question ... but many would say he already is. The kid has shown huge regret. I don't know that the team's system is in such a state that they couldn't use a 1st round talent who will sign cheap and is looking for redemption. 15 is old enough to know that sexually abusing a 6 year-old is wrong. He shouldn't be allowed to play pro baseball at all in my opinion.
