  1. Why not call a time out to stop the clock? They could have preserved nearly 2 minutes on the clock.
  2. How are they only calling one guy on that pushing back and forth? Really??
  3. This old man (in my 50s anyway) likes this powder blue jersey. Going with gray pants is odd but I also am ok not having the whole thing powder blue, not sure what else really would be better for the pants. The regular road grays are fairly dull imo, I'm good with replacing those..
  4. Eagle eye refs when the Bears are on defense.
  5. Not sure how they didn't call holding there, Parsons was being hugged. 3rd and long though.
  6. If the Bucks brass can work things out they could maybe get 3 teams involved to try to maximize a return and still get Giannis to a team he wants to go to.
  7. I think you could cross most of those names off his list and come away with trading Yelich would be good for Milwaukee. Which is kind of obvious. The problem as everyone knows is Yelich can't be traded without his permission which kills a lot of possibilities there. Not impossible but I kinda feel it's not very likely either. Yelich has been productive but as almost exclusively a DH his value to the team isn't all that great either.
  8. It honestly doesn't look like Musgrave even tried to block, he just made himself fall down. I've seen guys flop in the NBA with better acting skills than this.
  9. Not only that but what if Contreras' injury worsened and he ended up having to be shut down? It was a depth move and it does make sense. It just worked out that they didn't end up needing Jansen. They still had to prepare as if they would need someone to replace their starting catcher.
  10. Also, SWEEEEEP! How sweet it is after a couple seasons of Lions smugness (and still zero championships).
  11. I like going for it, it's 3 yards. If it doesn't work they still have to go down and score a TD. I like our defense enough to live with that.
  12. If MLF was going to do it I would have run on 3rd down rather than pass though.
  13. When all you need is a first down I'd almost like to see two tries at it and just put the game away rather than giving it back
  14. First replay I thought it was incomplete but I saw the foot placement better on the second replay.
  15. We must lead the league in sideways yards gained that actually go for 1 net yard.
  16. I was literally yelling at the tv, "run straight ahead, THEN make a move" These guys just stand there for a beat and run sideways.
  17. 7 more points and we'll make quota.
  18. Do you say Kleenex or facial tissue? If you say Kleenex that's why bubbler is a thing. I will never drink from a water fountain because that sounds about as palatable as drinking from a fish tank. Drinking fountain is ok I guess but still too many syllables. Honestly though, I think it's been decades since I've actually used one, whatever you want to call it. Maybe it's just not that important what people call it.
  19. Google AI tells me that Milwaukee's 7.9% rate is relatively average or slightly below average for a major metropolitan area. Nothing to see here.
  20. I'm not really taking issue with your overall point but fluky wins and fluky losses feel to me like just the average run-of-the-mill day in the NFL. If the Packers had found their way to winning these last two games would this board be singing praises instead of dooming and glooming (and I'm right there with everyone else in that boat)? Not sure, I feel like we'd all be feeling lucky but the Packers would be 7-1-1 and looking like they're really positioned well for the playoffs. We'd probably be saying things like, this team is good but they need to clean some things up to solidify their status. I'm not really sure what my point is here. I guess I don't want to take wins away from the Bears just like I'm not going to take losses away from the Packers. "Just win, baby" is definitely the golden rule in the NFL.
