I'm not really taking issue with your overall point but fluky wins and fluky losses feel to me like just the average run-of-the-mill day in the NFL.
If the Packers had found their way to winning these last two games would this board be singing praises instead of dooming and glooming (and I'm right there with everyone else in that boat)? Not sure, I feel like we'd all be feeling lucky but the Packers would be 7-1-1 and looking like they're really positioned well for the playoffs. We'd probably be saying things like, this team is good but they need to clean some things up to solidify their status.
I'm not really sure what my point is here. I guess I don't want to take wins away from the Bears just like I'm not going to take losses away from the Packers. "Just win, baby" is definitely the golden rule in the NFL.
