  1. To be fair, Wicks blocked like poo on that. It has not been a good day for pass catchers blocking downfield.
  2. I think I saw a stat somewhere this year that by far most of the serious injuries are taking place on grass, not artificial surfaces. And it was broken down per play, so it was statistically valid. I guess we can retire the talking point that grass is necessarily healthier. I wouldn’t have expected that, but after today, I’m a believer.
  3. I think I’m done now. All those draft picks and money. And that is the risk you take. We just came up bust.
  4. Good point, I should clarify.
  5. Nix is having the worst game I’ve watched from him probably all season. Still time for a turnaround, preferably before the final drive, please.
  6. Watson has been better on this of late, but I would have liked to see him be more physical and fight through to that ball a bit more. Still not in love with the play, but seemed like a passive approach by 9.
  7. This game is frustrating. Happy to be in it despite all the mistakes.
  8. And in the end: Caleb can’t play QB. Book it!
  9. Ok, Hafley and Parsons. It is time.
  10. Jacobs is willing this offense to competence right now.
  11. Our entire approach this half has been trash. Now what does LaFleur and Love have in the tank? Cause the D is empty.
  12. Run D is not getting it done now. That’s not great.
  13. HE started his slide way before the marker. This should be an easy win.
  14. Not sure that was the play call, but it is where Love went. Perhaps too conservative of a throw, but looking at all-22 would be nice. I really wish the NFL would switch to that view, but I doubt it ever happens at this point.
  15. Third and longish is where I really miss Kraft. He’s still a hole in this offense’s potential, and it makes me sad.
  16. Kinda wild watching Caleb bootleg around all quarter and on a key third and short, Hafley puts Parsons in coverage and assumes that Gary et al have this one. Kind of a mad scientist move and it worked, so kudos.
  17. Gosh darn it, special teams! Would you do something for once in your life!
  18. Watson is just different. Unstoppable one on one.
  19. Haha, Charmin soft open to that half. Time to show who you really are.
  20. Can’t let Williams escape the pocket.
  21. Is there really no one better than Orzech out there?
  22. Had the same thought, but on the other hand, I thought this was the best analysis I’ve heard from him maybe ever. He’s shared some nice insights to the game, and I’m usually a pretty big critic of his.
