Boy Arcia’s 0-5 3 k botched sacrifice game looks ugly in the box score but man oh man did Keon have a game! Good win. This series scares me!! Haha. Let’s go for the sweep and keep the pedal to the medal the next 2 days ! -
Game of his life wow that was an amazing catch
-
Keeeeeeeoooonnnn
-
That was a JJ locked in inning there. Wow. Nasty stuff tonight
-
JJ’s breaking ball is FILTHY tonight and right in the bottom of the zone
-
Definitely need to see him throwing off the mound before any time table can be set for his return but I am going to go with late August or early September for Nelson's return. Which with that time table would probably push DS to go for a top rotation guy... which next year and maybe the year after will only improve the depth of the rotation overall. Good things all good things.

This wins the day. Lol.
-
Hahahahaha that was nuts
-
They steal the sacrifice anyhow haha
-
Nice bunt Arcia. Smh

If Keon stays playing well... do they jettison Sogard or Arcia when Cain comes back? I wonder ...
-
I've seen about enough of the Pineapple. The biggest issue I have with Piña and Arcia - when they have struggled - which has been often. Is how they get 2-0, 3-0 in the count and then swing at a ball eye high or in the dirt. Or pop out. That is the most special kind of frustrating. And those two guys do it a lot. KEON run into one!

Chase looks solid tonight. He loves those hot humid night games.
-
Pina refused to walk ... preferred to pop out instead. Ugh swung at 2 ball 4’s
-
Worked yesterday so why not - Guys! This series scares me!! Let’s hope for good Chase and hope Aguilar (and Thames the GreatRed Killer) stays hot
-
Oh I agree... I just hope we aren't regressing back to where we "should" be. Sucks that when the Cubs slump, so do we. Would love to build a cushion up!!!

Keston Hiura [Promoted to AA 5/31/18]
YelichPosse replied to markedman5's topic in Brewers Minor League Talk
I'm a Nottingham fan because of the at bats he put together up here. Results usually follow that type of patience. The problem with him though, is now with Kratz performing like a decent backup... he is blocked because its proven that Pina is "the man" and for some reason the Brewers brass loves Pina and thinks hes amazing with pitchers. I, for one, do not agree with that assessment. Watching where he sets up and what he calls in situations sometimes hurts my head, and if a casual fan can watch and say "thats not a good location" - or "thats a bad idea" and then boom - home run, or laser to the wall... I don't know. And yes we are overly critical with Arcia, Perez, Pina, Villar even - but let's be honest - it sucks having 4-5 spots be near automatic outs daily.... to still be this good though is amazing... imagine if we get any support down there! I'd love to see Hiura up.... Villar to SS... Miller to super sub... Sogard gone... Nottingham up... Pina though would go where? Ahhh,,,, I dream. -
Guys - I'm terrified of this series. Any word on Shaw yet - has anyone heard?

I agree. Looked like he was even choking up in that last at bat to just make hard contact ... and then stealing second . Shows how singles and speed can be a weapon when you aren’t trying to hit it out every swing Villar consistently has choked up all year and gone for a very heavy contact swing. This isn’t new and he definitely tries to just put it in play with two strikes. I thought so. And I love that approach. It was hard to tell if he actually was doing that as I thought he has been or if that was a thing on the knob of the bat. Hard to tell now days!

That play was awesome and funny at the same time... Suter is growing on me.... I hate to admit that lol And boy Arcia gave that one a ride Pretty bad when you’re most excited for the pitcher to hit when you get to the 6789 part of the order .. Is it just me or is Pérez hot for maybe a few games and then cold for a month or two?
-
Broxton and Pina barf...
-
Miller had a hit and 2 walks last night. That is more times on base than SS has produced in about a week it seems. And did not make an error. Problem solved. LOL

Guys! Just got online and missed the game unfortunately. And holy awesome to see what Peralta did!! How neat would it be to see him do a Cal Eldred 1992 Esque performance for us ? My goodness that would be a boost if he’s anything like he was today! Nice to see Miller with a couple walks and a hit tonight, and Braun to hit one out!

You think they could leave Salvador Perez behind in Milwaukee when they leave?
