So it will be Rams/Cards/Eagles/Niners next week, long term weather looks like cold weather game. Which team would have bigger issues with the cold? Jimmy G has small and injured hands but niners can run it. Philly has the best running game in the league. Rams like to pass. I guess in a real cold game bring on the Rams? But weather aside obviously Philly is what we want as that means Tampa is done.

Jaire, ZSmith, Cobb, and Turner all practiced today. Bakh did not they are calling it load management.

I didn’t realize the Rams lost one of their safeties last week, maybe that explains that last drive and niners td in regulation, that was ugly. Sounds like desperation but they have all their chips in this a year.

Ha I have always thought the Escobar Hippos were pretty cool but wouldn’t want to run into one while out hiking. Sorta a similar story I lived in Hollywood FL for years and one night at a bar some guy is telling me that Dania Beach has monkeys, I thought he was full of it but looked it up when got home a what do you know some escaped from a zoo or circus or something back in the 1920’s and there has been a stable population living in the mangroves ever since. All we get here in the Midwest is Asian carp and those lamprey things.

I never looked into Belize but I have 2 coworkers who have moved to Costa Rica since COVID started and are pretty happy about it. I was working from home even before COVID for the most part and have thought a lot about this, I sort of think Colombia is a good place to get in while it is still cheaper. Still a stigma to it from FARC and Escobar but really coming out of all that.

I think the $600 thing is being overblown, mostly by people politicizing it which thankfully isn't happening here. There are no new taxes, just another step to make sure they collect taxes from internet transactions that honestly I am shocked took this long. Most states started collecting sales tax on ebay and amazon a couple of years ago. I probably buy and sell about 10K a year on my hobby and have never bothered with taxes, I figure I about break even after ebay and paypal fees but I am sure if I broke it down individually I would have owed something as I have made a killing on some items. It would be nice if they made an exemption for hobbyist so we could balance what we buy and sell in a year but the government doesn't care about collectibles, they would rather we invested our money elsewhere and the 28% they want us to pay makes that crystal clear.

We will in the usual 8 year cycle but apparently not in the game 17 cycle. I suspect if they stay at 17 that game may be subject to change, I like the AFC parity game thing they are doing now but I could see more of a regional approach as well.

The cool thing about a potential Bengals-Packers Super Bowl is we would get to rewatch all those missed FG's nonstop for 2 weeks.

Bucs getting Fournette and JPP back along with a couple of others, seems like there has been talk about Cowboys getting healthy as well. So it’s not just the Pack, maybe new IR rules allowing guys back late on all teams.

Like a lot of us I had started to get skeptical of these guys returning but now that it is starting to happen I am hoping that was the plan all along. Get them all not only back but healthy and rested. 3 all pros and a few other good players back and playing well would really make us a tough out. They probably need to get through the divisional round before they get too much impact from them but watch out once they all get settled back in. It's weird because last week the talk on Z seemed to be that there was a rift with management and he had played his last down in GB.

Yeah it’s only been 2 weeks since the D was destroyed by Cleveland’s oline. They looked pretty tough in the trenches again today, I haven’t watched them in a while but it was impressive.

I think the niners are going to beat Dallas so scared or not I think they are the likely division round opponent. I try not to worry about opponents as nothing we can do but niners and Tampa did become worst case scenarios as many predicted the last 2 years.

Rams getting it done, Tampa down 7-3 but just stuffed the Panthers at the goal line. I was thinking we don't want Tampa to lose but as long as Rams win I don't think it matters as they are locked into #3? Brady 5-9 34 yards

It's weird, the goal is to make the playoffs and the NFL doesn't frown on taking a knee at the end of a game. I agree they would never let them take knees the whole game and hard to think the teams could actually collude for the tie and not get caught. But if it gets to overtime I bet both team go run run run punt and look to next week.
