  1. My god make him throw it over your head stop giving up easy throws on 3rd down
  2. I mean the guy saw Rodgers throw it and was watching the ball downfield and still shoved him. I get how it looks weak but that is just a dumb play by the defender.
  3. Not sure why we are so bad out of the gate this season, I guess the fact that we tend to overwhelm teams in the long run is a good sign.
  4. Let them off the hook, they are right back in business.
  5. Line opened at -2 and now up to -7, the betters sure don't think Jackson is playing. Rodgers needs 4 TD's to pass Favre for the Packers record, it looks like a pretty good weather forecast.
  6. Bak finally back at practice today limited. I am sure they will be careful and don't expect him this week but good to see anyway.
  7. TB has vsNO @CAR @NYJ vsCAR to close the season, so probably gonna need to win out to keep it. 538 has it at GB (45%) TB (39%) AZ (10%) for the first round bye after the Cardinals lost tonight, for whatever that is or isn't worth. I could see the Cards and TB losing one of their last 4 so even if the Packers lose one of the AFC games still a good shot.
  8. I checked when they said that and in 1921 only the Packers,Bears, and Cardinals existed among current teams. So one of those stats fun to bring up during the rivalry but is only relevant to those 3 teams. Packers already lead all time in Championships (13) & winning percentage (.573), once they pass the Bears for wins they'll have the triple crown. Yes I was interested after posting to see the numbers Cardinals are way down on list so amount of years/games isn't everything.

  10. It won’t be noteworthy but this may be the worst special teams performance in NFL history. Maybe saved by a penalty a muff?
  11. Seemed like the way he had his hands positioned made it a tough catch, in excusable to muff a punt that badly. Lucky break
  12. 27 points in a half to the Bears. Wow
  13. Seems like they know our plays so far, OL not doing great but Rodgers holding the ball too long as no one open.
  14. It's the Bears, hoping for a relaxing stomping. But expecting a slow start with a close halftime score with Packers pulling away late, that has sort of been the way we play this year. Maybe the bye week they straightened the first 15 or whatever scripted plays on offense? Seems like we were lights out early last year.
  15. I only tuned in for the expected Viking meltdown. Meh, back to my Entourage marathon…
  16. So far 2 missed FG’s and a PAT indoors, 1st quarter. Just don’t bother anymore I guess, fire all kickers.
  17. I agree, giving a team the ball late needing a Fg to win at the end and enough field to run out the clock is a terrible choice. This way even if they don’t convert the Vikes can’t run The clock out and you get last possession no matter what happens. It was the right call and a complete no brainer at 0-10
  18. Nice, just tuned in to KFAn for Viking Whine Line
  19. I saw something from what appeared to be a legit nba scouting source after the Maui win that had him going #25 in the next draft. Said something like he just needs to prove he can shoot consistently. But guys like him can move on and off the first round nba radar so who knows.
  20. Yes, every game seems to be making that more likely. If so too bad because next year could be a big one if Crowl and Carlson can get stronger. Enjoying this years team after last years was the most unwatchable I can remember.
  21. Pothole is the Hormel brand that Kwik Trip replaced Heggies with? If so not a fan at all, too much sauce and toppings. I guess that is the idea but could only eat a couple of pieces and never wanted it again. But I am not a fan of Lotza Motza except the taco either.
  22. Packers swept the NFC west
  23. It’s funny, had we traded for Gilmore and he had played as well as Douglas we would probably be talking about an extension. We still have to see how the season plays out, Rams could still win the SB, but Packers have been outstanding with their depth with all the injuries. I always have that house of cards feeling during injury riddled seasons like this though. Wish we actually knew if Bak,Jaire, or Z will be back.
  24. Dislocated shoulder. Doing an MRI tomorrow to determine the extent of any additional damage. Not real surprising that the guy is seemingly fighting injuries every year. Zimmer has run him into the ground. Hopefully just a scare for Cook like Gary and Jones had but sounds bad reading about his reaction to it. He is sort of snake bitten for sure, I was a little surprised the Vikes extended him for big money, partly because RB’s are such a risk but also because he already had a big knee injury and as you say has been high usage when on the field. To be fair I was surprised the Packers extended Jones as well.
  25. Stunningly bad. I thought one of the benefits of the younger coaches was supposed to be Madden-like clock management and risk-taking. The clock management stuff doesn’t seem to be better…. They got a lot of those seconds I was so upset about back when the Rams ran when they should have passed.
