  1. Wow great! That makes me feel better. Ok here's another one...TE battle Mark Andrews or Evan Engram? Andrews was great early but has tailed off. Jackson isn't starting...backup QB. Makes me leaning on Engram. Or was his monster week last week a fluke?
  2. Justin Fields or Justin Herbert at QB for this week? Fields has come on of late with his legs and put up some monster games. Herbert seems better after last week after getting some weapons back for him to throw to. I have a feeling Fields will go off if I start Herbert...I had the no.1 seed and a 1st round bye locked up until I lost last week, had my work week of the season at the worst possible time and now I play this week.
  3. This is looking pretty tasty now that we know how this season starts...
  4. In my head that's what I think is going on. It's a Rodgers thing, and MLF just won't throw him under the bus and will take the blame for it as his play calling. Maybe he sees something at the line that thinks he can exploit something, but we just don't have the WR talent or experience to do what he sees in his head on the field yet. I can see AR and MLF having a friendly rivalry on who's play works best...and so far AR has been striking out on his plays.
  5. That was a great read wow.
  6. Why yes, yes it does. Just like the current Brewers uniforms do as well. They take a little something from all of the 70's and 80's uniforms. Just like most modern MLB uniforms do that are done right like the Padres, Jays.
  7. So what's the final verdict on the City Connect jerseys? I like a powder blue jersey, but it came up a little short. He's a couple tweaks to make it look more like an MLB baseball jersey and not a softball jersey. I wasn't a fan of the hat and helmet, too much power blue. It should of been used as the bill color if at all, and navy being the primary cap color. Feels more balanced that way. I would have liked to see them wear their regular caps with this set. They seemed very popular around the state and at games, the "average fan" thought they were cool, and most likely people younger than me. I do like the grill and cooler secondary sleeve logos, but not for on field use. Maybe just for shirts.
  8. Wow good memory. This makes me sad seeing that...the season came down to Pablo Reyes and Hader in rare form. Very fitting for this season.
  9. If we miss the playoffs this is one move I hope gets questioned alot. Call this guy up and give us a shot in the arm.
  10. We're always played good teams tough this season, gonna need more of that let's go!
  11. I'm staying positive here too...but man it's been tough watching this team. Almost as bad as 2014. But hey maybe they'll get hot at just the right time late here and barely make it in and go on a run. It's possible...
  12. Craigtober as well!
  13. Just proof that you can be big buyers at the deadline...and it doesn't work out. Even the Brewers the past couple years have dealt with this. Scope, Escobar come to mind once we acquired them. And some bullpen guys like Norris. This years pen guys have underperformed since getting them as well. Bush and Rogers. Of course for the Cardinals their acquisitions worked out great.... Would be sweet to beat the Pads for that last spot. This team has to get hot in a hurry though.
  14. This is what I'm expected too. They are playing so eh for months, watch this will be the Brewers team that gets hot a week or two before the Playoffs start and wins it all
  15. I've seen a few freeze frames on that play where he could of ran, and no doubt he probably would of got ran down by one their speedy LBs. You're right. But this is AR, the king of pump fakes and running for extra yards with more his brains than his legs. I bet with a classic AR pump fake he could of got in, or got pretty damn close which would of made the decision to go for it that much easier on 4th down the next play. He had a great one for a TD against the Rams the week before, bragged about it on AR Tuesday the following week, he was playing with mad swag I would of thought he'd go for it and run there. I still feel that game was lost on the TD to end the half, that killed everyone. It made me think of of the Seattle game. I'm sure that thought crept into his mind. Offense had their chances 2nd half too after all those INTs and they did nothing with the ball. They got too one dimensional got away from the run and balanced approach and tried to force it to Adams too many times. They had their chances to win despite all the things that went wrong. Still stings. Not as much as Seattle though for me man that one was so depressing but this was close. Still gets me mad when I think about it haha
  16. Anyone try Uzzu TV at all? I've seen a few Reddit pages bring it up. Looks shady to me however and possibly not legal. Idk. So far I'm getting used to just watching the extended highlights on facebook in the 10 min wrapup videos.
  17. Reading your description of this vlog makes me never want to watch this. Ever. Thank you.
  18. Anyone else concerned he's not gonna last? Following Pitching Ninja on Twitter they say Williams spin rate on his change up is way higher than anyone else's in the MLB...that has to be hard on the arm/shoulder especially since his is almost like a Screwball. Really hope he's all healed up we need him it was so fun watching him pitch last year.
  19. I've noticed the past year or so there's extended highlights of every game on the Brewer's Facebook page a few hours after each game. On nights where I can't watch live on TV I'll just not check any scores until I get home, then fire up these extended highlight clips on Youtube and Facebook that are pretty in depth, anywhere from 6-10 minutes long and pretty much cover most major plays of the game. If no YoutubeTV deal is reach guess I'll just be doing this to "watch" games...and gain a little more free time come summer I guess. Hope something can be worked out however.
  20. This reminds me of when the Indians start cutting back in Major League. Or are a lot of teams doing this now for environmental reasons?
  21. Not sure what I'm going to do for the Brewers on TV next season now. Hopefully between now and the start of the season an agreement can be reached and we'll switch to that service. Liking YoutubeTV so far...except for no Brewers stuff now.
  22. Who knows maybe Gute is really all in on these guys and really wants to make the moves...it's the upper management like Murphy that says no? The Packers have such a weird chain of command unlike other NFL teams because of the no owner thing. I'd really like to hear someday how it really is with that setup. I think you guys are exactly right. They care more about winning for a long time and making money, than going all in. No doubt the Packers are as popular as they are since the early 90's with having 2 HOF QBs and winning for so long. I was too young but were they this popular in the 70's and 80's when they weren't that good?
  23. Thanks for bringing up some great memories (and some painful) on those really good 2000s Packers teams...forgot about a few of those seasons. Green was such a beast back then. Mike McKenzie and Al Harris two awesome cornerbacks. Wish we could of won 2-3 more Superbowls
  24. Love how the trend in pro sports coaching as been to go younger the past 5 years across the board...and the Sox go complete opposite and hire a nearly 80 year old man to coach a young talented team. Seems a head scratcher to me but I guess we'll wait and see.
  25. Amazing grab, remember staying up late on a school night to watch that one
