  1. Na, let’s continue to do the same ole same ole and leave the .525 vs LHP hitter down below to continue to help San Antonio crush their opponents.
  2. This teams lineup vs LHP stinks. Period. Stearns fault.
  3. I know you have cut the brake lines, but drag your feet, downshift, do something, because you really need to tap the brakes on some of your prospect love. That’s what what you told me a month ago when I said the crew should call up Grisham to ignite this offense.
  4. Grisham is going to be a superstar type player, and I’m not the only one who has that opinion. And because it looks like our payroll will always be below league average, it is precisely that fact, as to why we can’t wait.
  5. Can’t be a “risk adverse” consistently below league average payroll and expect to win a World Series. Sign Grisham now, save 40 million. The stats AND eyes tell the truth, every bit the player, now and in the future that Hiura is.
  6. Hiura = Eloy Jimenez contract Grisham > 8 years Been beating this drum for a while now, easy decision on both to do 8 years. 9 years would be better, but a new precedent would have to be set, I believe. This is the not risky, this is a necessity for our future to extend a window of title contention, and this is step #1.
  7. Devin Williams should be in getting his feet wet.
  8. I’ll go a step further > tremendous outing! Don’t think he’s going back to the pen any time soon. Brewers knew what they were doing keeping him in the rotation. Kinda makes our rotation a little more formidable. Sure...maybe if he pitches like this the rest of the year..but if he pitches like he did against the Cubs... Ya ya, 4 pitches with command should do the trick.
  9. I’ll go a step further > tremendous outing! Don’t think he’s going back to the pen any time soon. Brewers knew what they were doing keeping him in the rotation. Kinda makes our rotation a little more formidable.
  10. He doesn’t have Hiura’s power, but he’s every bit the hitter that Hiura is. And there’s no denying he’s sparked this offense.
  11. Reds will be the Mets 2.0. Bauer Castillo Gray Wood Mahle Declafani plus a pretty good pen. Lineup pretty strong too. Better than than the cards. There gonna be tough to beat.
  12. But what did Freitas do? Didn’t play that game. But if he had probably would have gone 2-5, since that’s rounding up slightly from his .370+ average at the time.
  13. Should be up soon, can use his unhittable stuff to go with Devin throwing his nasty stuff, giving us something we’ve been lacking all year > K’s in high leverage situations, other than hader.
  14. You want Freitas up? I never would have guessed? First I'm hearing of it! Last rant. He’s not coming up til September now, with Perez back rostered, unless injury of course.
  15. Don’t look now but, Black hasn’t walked a batter in his last 3 outings, so he’ll be up soon to pair with Devin, giving us a probable K tandem down the stretch. Hader if used properly, fireman, will in all probability pitch like he’s capable, add Pomeranz and a well rested Burnes and boom > dominant pen. This all before September, then add Suter Nelson lyles and as long as this team is within 1-2 runs after 3, it should hold for a comeback win 95% of the time, which is why this team is gonna be tough to beat in September. Book it.
  16. Freitas 3 more hits, ave up to .381 > but let’s continue to watch Perez flail away with the big club. I hope he’s able to take advantage of his probable limited playing time in September to show how asinine keeping him down all year was. If the crew loses out by a game or two I blame Stearns. No excuse to keep him away from the big club when he helps solve their biggest offensive weakness > hitting vs LHP. .525 obviously isn’t good enough, I suppose it needed to get over 60%.
  17. To play this bad a game and still win, huh. Maybe the team really is due for some winning baseball.
  18. Let’s just pitch him this inning till he blows out his arm. The pressure is getting to Counsell. 43 high stress pitches and counting.
  19. Very astute take. Nailed it. Hopefully can be sold for 74 cents on the dollar this offseason.
  20. Thames clutch play there, Wow
  21. Hmmm. This sounds interesting. Sounds like another burnes coming to save the day part 1,425,677 post. Yes win every one of em. Undefeated for the month. George Webb’s x 2. + 95 run differential.
  22. Agree, terrible. September can’t get here soon enough. Do these games not count? Doesn’t matter what they do this month, if they win all their games in September.
