I'm fine with him playing at the moment as he's earned that. I just hope they don't pencil him in as the regular 3B next year. I still view him as a long-term utility guy.
Yeah, Brewers are even better than league average in 2 out RISP situations not just RISP in general. Doesn't seem like it can be true and it can be frustrating but can't argue with the stats.
Baseball reference under the batting splits tab. Wish they had all teams individually listed but they don't. Only league as a whole but then have to go to Brewers page to compare.
Brewers actually have better than league-average stats with RISP. .775 OPS versus .756 for the league as a whole. Score a run 36.5% of plate appearances versus 34.1% for the league.

Started the season with 4 Brewers I just couldn't stand, for a variety of reasons. In order, Bush, Lauer, Urias and Rowdy. Can't wait for Rowdy to be gone so I can get a bingo on my card.
Peralta is 25th in the league in pitches per start but only 67th in innings per start. If he could become just a bit more economical it would help narrow that gap. Regardless, he certainly has been elite lately (although the competition the last 3 starts hasn't been much).
Frelick has now walked and homered the only two times he's faced a lefty. Neutral splits in the minors. Next time we face a lefty and he's on the bench, my tv might want to hide the remotes.
